- This is a test to see if either one of these products works good for removing oil stains from a driveway.
This is the links to the two products we are testing
Krud Kutter Orange Pressure Washer Concentrate Concrete and Driveway Cleaner

Zep Concentrated Purple Industrial degreaser

I just cleaned up a pretty stubborn oil stain today by spraying brake cleaner all over it, then covered with kitty litter. Stomp and grind the litter in with your feet, then let it sit for at least an hour and sweep away the litter and it was GONE.
That's a good idea. Thanks for the advice!
Thinking I may have to try this one.
Out of the three, I think the tape did the best job
😆🤣😂
😂
Lol
They both look the same. The spots are still there on both side.
This video was very helpful, I like the Zep side better.
Thank you Ronald. I might make another one soon with other things to use. Someone left more oil stains on my driveway 🙄.
Thanks for watching 👀 🙂
Thank you so much for your time spent with this video. I now know that I'm just going to use pool acid and scrub my entire driveway with it and let it dry on the driveway before rinsing
Pool acid? Let me know how that works.
Don't do it. The acid vapors will corrode any metal in the garage.
Thanks for saving me the money. Always liked ZEP but not long ago it was $8 a bottle now its almost $14 so I was looking at Krud and I see neither did much. Dawn detergent it is for just cleaning the garage floor (its coated which should help).
Glad I could show the options. Dawn might work just fine. Maybe let it setup for 20 or 30 minutes. Thanks for watching!
I’d keep looking for a better solution. Both worked a little but neither worked well. I guess I would lean towards the Zep if I had to pick one…..but I don’t and so I won’t waste my money on either.
I hear what you are saying. I would have thought they would have been than this!
idk why y'all are talking about, takes pressure washer to it and then use the zep and then pressure wash it it away and it will be almost perfect. it looks really good how he did it too.
You are not wrong my friend!
I would have loved to have seen what the Concrete cleaner would have done without the Dishwashing liquid added.
We could give that a try. We are going to have more oil and hydraulic clean ups to do soon. The barn is getting a lot ☹️. Thanks for watching!
I used a degreaser then used dawn before a final pass using easy off oven cleaner.
I have heard that works ok also. Haven't tried it yet but I will. Thank you!
Thanks for trying these products.
Welcome. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video bro. You did a great job.
Glad you enjoyed. Thanks for watching bro!
I’m going tomorrow try Dawn, with Baku v soda, then pour on, white vinegar and see if that does anything . If not, then go fir something else
Like to hear how it comes out. Thanks for watching.
Zep is better but still no good. I think muriatic acid is the only way to go. Thank you for your videos are awesome
I say you are completely right. Thanks for watching!
how about stains from distilled water spills on concrete? white vinegar didn't do much
Hello Steve
You might try to use a quarter gallon of bleach mixed with a gallon of hot water and one or two drops of dawn soap. Scurb and use pressure washer if you have one. Let me know how it works.
Zell, worked best , but did you put the Dawn with the degreaser , or just use the Dawn, I didn’t see you add the degreaser to the bottle tho,
Usually Dawn works good, and zep is a good product to
I didn't add Dawn to Zep only to the other degreaser.
I think both will do ok… but Krud Kutter for the win.
Yea they could be better.
Thank you 😊
👍
The zep worked better but it’s still not good enough
Yes not the best. We will be posting a video later on with some different options. Thanks for watching 👀 🙂
@@thebrothersbarn6094 I think it’s ok better then just water
The only degreaser I ever use is Zep.
It can do good stuff. Thanks for watching.
will this work for stearig fluid
I'm not sure it it would or not. I haven't tired that yet. Let me know if you give it a try.
Did you ever try? I have a power steering fluid stain that is being really stuborn!!
Good job bro 👏
Thank you!
Would it have been better to pressure wash the test area first? Clean off the organics first, then do the degreaser test.....
Yes it would have. Just wanted to show how it does with just a garden hose.
@@thebrothersbarn6094 wonder if the residue is moss and fungus? Pressure wash then bleach wash then pressure wash then the degrease test.
@KetoMan no it was oil. If it was organic I would have used about 3% SH pre-treat and than pressure washed with a surface cleaner.
@@thebrothersbarn6094 Yes but what was on the concrete before the oil. If it is old concrete it is not impossible that it was organically stained already when the oil fell on it. I now suspect that the remainder of the stain is actually organic and that the organic stain is/was under the oil stain. One way to find out it to now wash with SH and see if that makes a difference??
Have you tried Oil Eater? :)
I have not tried that one. Is it any good?
@@thebrothersbarn6094 Yes! Great price on Amazon, Walmart, AutoZone :)
Yeah a little better purple try muriatic acid next time I been using that for a long time and using a pressure washer works for me maybe works for you 👍
Thanks for the advice. I will try that next time.
CHOMP! Pull It Out - Concrete Oil Stain Remover 👍👍
Oh nice I'll have to give that a try also. Thank you!
Try a hot torch for weed killing. Works amazingly well.
?
Would like you to do pressure washing first
Yes that would be a good one to show. Thanks for the advice and I will do that next.
You got the 1st Degreaser over sparay on the other side of the blue line. just saying.
He oversprayed with both.
Maybe a little 🫣
Muriatic acid or maybe one of goof off solutions.
Spray on let sit rinse then use a surface cleaner
Thanks for the advice!
Zep was slightly better but they were both very similar
Yes they are very similar.
Purple
Purple what purple power
The zep purple degreaser. The purple power works great also.
The Krud Kutter says on the bottle “pressure washer concentrate”. 😂
😆
@@thebrothersbarn6094, I used the krud kutter concrete and driveway the other day. I sprayed a big section with it and let it sit. I used a pressure washer to clean it. It didn’t do a thing. I cleaned the rest without using anything. It all looks the same. That stuff is a scam. 😆
@@brandonsmith5673 was you trying to clean oil stains or organic?
@@thebrothersbarn6094, it was the concrete around my pool. It was just really dirty.
Zep
Right Side
Nice
Straight gasoline gets oil up best
🤔 not sure I'm down to try that lol
Wholes drives way needs to be pressure washed
This was just for the test. Yes driveway totally needed some love ❤
Krud Kutter? Maybe 🤔...
I prefer the red and white bottle.
The krub did a ok job not to bad. Thanks for watching 👀 🙂
My guess is ZEP
👍
Pretty much equal
Not a lot of difference.
Looks like neither looks the same as when you started.
A little better but not as good as should be. Thanks for watching.
Muriatic acid is the only way
I have heard that works good 👍
I bet on zep.
😀
12 minutes of my life gone!
Yep a hour of mine 😁
Seems neither is good enough.
Definitely not the best.
No difference
👍
Zep
Zep
Yea
Zep
👍
