This is my all-time most favorite trailer to any game/update. I come here regularly to watch it again and again. It still reminds me the hype and goosebumps it gave me the first time I saw it before the update came out.

Still the most influential update in this game's history. The whole late-game was changed, the early game was changed... this update. Update 3 made Satisfactory what it is today.
Totally agree (from the perspective of someone who got his Pioneer license starting with Update 3). I can't imagine a Satisfactory world without pipes and hypertubes. Took Satisfactory from the 'toddler' stage in to adolescence and towards the Big Leagues of Factory builders.
You know when I started watching I thought this was overly dramatic for a reveal trailer, then I saw the pipes and I understood, this was exactly the trailer we needed.

@@pedasjma23 I think you underrate the performance increase you can gain if you have optimize for a single hardware configuration. Don't forget the XboX Series X has more power than the todays average home PC. And also the XboX one X is quite potent already. Sure things like Ray Tracing and all other graphical nonsense aren't possible, but neither are todays PCs capable of useing it besides 2500$+ machines. So yeah i can totally see this game on the next gen consoles using all details and this gen basic with low-mid range graphics and the pro versions on a high setting.

Taylor Rathbone yeah I’ve got in on experimental and when you download it all at once (experimental + update 3) it’s corrupts the entirety of experimental making it unplayable. It makes the screen look like a magnet has been pressed to it. Obviously it’s not the PC as my desktop and all other games work fine. It seems like they didn’t optimize the update for new players at all.
After 1.0 has now released, I came back to this trailer, because I still think even after 1.0, this was the most hyped trailer for the game. Screaming PIPES! at my computer watching this live was a good moment. Its fine how CSS got everyone excited for something as mundane as pipes.

New Satisfactory player here. It's amazing how simple thing as pipes received such an epic trailer! I wish I already was a Satisfactory player back then, I can feel the hype the Community had. For me Pipes are just a regular feature.
I was a Satisfactory player back then. Let me paint you a picture. The Discord servers had several feature requests that were made over and over: Lamps, some way to deal with nuclear waste, and pipes. Players had been speculating about the addition of pipes for ages, but every time, someone said, "there will never be pipes in this game". There was even an emoji on the server, a Mario pipe that had been crossed out. Actually, it's still there. But, there hadn't been a peep about pipes from the devs. If they did mention it, it may have been in the same troll-like way they recently talked about golf. Literally the first confirmation that pipes would be added was this trailer. Which was released, as you may know, at the same time as the update. Yes, the hype was intense.
The team that made this trailer needs to make all my video game trailers from now on. And by "all my" I mean all the video game trailers I will watch in my life for all new video games.
i buy day 0 on steam... no a penny for epic trash store... they keep buying exclusives from indies, and making other bad pratices as spy steam files... until they make exclusive pré ordered games from studios and stop spying others files i will try use it... the poor feature list is not a trouble... hey i use origin and uplay anyway LOL gog and others like steam are much better, but you lose stuff just using one... i love all that not are jerks, because of it epic is on black list, but can change if they change first... they lost respect, and need time to reaquire some, but can eventually be good, just need start and keep track on a good path!

Sure, I don't like the idea of exclusivity either, but 30% of your game just to be on steam is a LOT. They sold 1.2 million units - that is *10,800,000$* lost if they only sold it on steam. Then, you remove another 5% from that (1,800,000$) and you get a whopping *12,600,000$* lost. 12,600,000$ that they just paid to valve - a multi-billion company. That is why most triple A game dev companies use their *own* launchers. 30% is TOO MUCH lost.

Legit have the epic games store on my pc JUST for satisfactory. I have grown a hatred for epic games, and will gladly buy this game a second time just to spite epic games...

New Satisfactory player here. It's amazing how simple thing as pipes received such an epic trailer! I wish I already was a Satisfactory player back then, I can feel the hype the Community had. For me Pipes are just a regular feature.
I was a Satisfactory player back then. Let me paint you a picture.
The Discord servers had several feature requests that were made over and over: Lamps, some way to deal with nuclear waste, and pipes.
Players had been speculating about the addition of pipes for ages, but every time, someone said, "there will never be pipes in this game". There was even an emoji on the server, a Mario pipe that had been crossed out. Actually, it's still there.
But, there hadn't been a peep about pipes from the devs. If they did mention it, it may have been in the same troll-like way they recently talked about golf.
Literally the first confirmation that pipes would be added was this trailer. Which was released, as you may know, at the same time as the update.
Yes, the hype was intense.

i buy day 0 on steam... no a penny for epic trash store... they keep buying exclusives from indies, and making other bad pratices as spy steam files... until they make exclusive pré ordered games from studios and stop spying others files i will try use it... the poor feature list is not a trouble... hey i use origin and uplay anyway LOL gog and others like steam are much better, but you lose stuff just using one... i love all that not are jerks, because of it epic is on black list, but can change if they change first... they lost respect, and need time to reaquire some, but can eventually be good, just need start and keep track on a good path!

They couldn't afford to be on steam - they would've launched the game there either way - it's because they need their money because...well, you know, they need food and shelter.

Sure, I don't like the idea of exclusivity either, but 30% of your game just to be on steam is a LOT. They sold 1.2 million units - that is *10,800,000$* lost if they only sold it on steam. Then, you remove another 5% from that (1,800,000$) and you get a whopping *12,600,000$* lost. 12,600,000$ that they just paid to valve - a multi-billion company. That is why most triple A game dev companies use their *own* launchers. 30% is TOO MUCH lost.

The re-balancing changes basically necessitate restarting anyways, but it's true, every restart, get a little bit more refined and efficient :P

I think it's intentional. The areas where you need the mask are designed to challenge your traversal skills.
