    Nice work Lone star. I had trouble getting 2000 grit scratches out with 3000 trizact by hand. Went thru step 1 3m compound and could still see some scratches. Changed from 3000 by hand and hit it with 3000 on DA....damp. That took care of scratches 100%. Also went to 5000 on DA. Buffed out beautiful.
    I will admit, a little scary being a first timer......
    Good tip on wax and grease!

    BOXSTATE COLORADO 719. LONE STAR LOWS. THAT WAS MY THANG ,IVE SINCE RETIRED. STILL DO IT OCCASIONALLY. IF THEY WANT TO PAY. NO BODY WANTS TO PAY TILL ITS TO LATE. LIKE THEY SAY BEHIND EVERY BADASS PAINTER THERE IS A BADASS BUFFER.

    So would you advise a D.I.Y painter to wait 9 months to cut and buff his car, and also, would you keep all mouldings and emblems off the car, when doing so?

    • @lonestarlows
      @lonestarlows  Місяць тому +1

      Longer the better.u can do it with moldings on just watch the edges. And I'd tape the moldings
