- I love when Cosmo tells me to zoom there and zoom back and adds her grocery list when I'm leaving the house 😂 I especially love her adding her whispered "I Love You" ❤️
There are times when I get home she will blow me a kiss and tell me "I missed you, I missed you" and it's usually followed by a whispered, "I Love You" ❤️ melts my heart every time ❤️
When she whispered "I love you" my heart melted ❤ She's the best! ❤❤❤

my heart swells and then melts 😂…and it’s the questions, her putting the things of an event like shopping together, and questioning (not simply repeating)…it is a conversation, absolutely! Must protect that superstahhh at all costs❣️

Cosmo tilts her head when she is trying to understand something. You mentioned apples and then she did. She wouldn't let you leave without reminding you of cartoons. It's amazing how much comprehension she has. I love her voice !!!

Please, don't eat any birds or their eggs. Birds are sentient creatures, as Cosmo shows, and just because some birds can't speak, or aren't as smart as little Cosmo, doesn't mean you should eat their dead bodies or their eggs. Thanks :D
The head tilts are really interesting. I have a German Shepherd and learned that head tilts happen when she is trying to process a more complex idea I’ve communicated, there’s some neuroscience that explains why the tilt, and it seems like Cosmo does it for the same reason. What a wonderful relationship you have with him! Ive never had a bird but I love watching them, especially corvids- blue jays, and we have a crow nearby who can do an impressive imitation of a construction vehicle backing up, he has me looking around for the truck when he beep beep beeps.

I was thinking the same thing ßhes not just "parroting" random memorized phrases, she's actually conversating with you and expressing feelings she wants you to zoom and be good and get her almonds and apples and NOT FORGET THE CARTOONS! and she loves you! Just beautiful!
@@mommasmom857 We still don't know just how much they truly understand, and how much they just know what is an appropriate thing to say at certain times. Example: Mine will see me putting on a coat, hat, or some other article of clothing which he knows I only wear when going outside, and will then say goodbye, so long, or see ya later, and he knows I'm leaving, which is reinforced by ME saying one of those phrases. If I do not say any of them, he will assume that I'm not leaving and will call out to me to see where I am once I'm out of his vision. It's complicated, but they truly are smarter than most give them credit for. I don't remember how old Cosmo is; mine is 34. Cosmo, Gizmo, and Apollo are the current crop of all star African Gray parrots on youtube. Cheers to them all!
