As someone who already got the achievement solo, I'm happy to see that such a drastically different approach to what I did is still viable to getting this difficult achievement!
@@WD_724 How does taking this person's word at face value negatively impact you? Skepticism is good and all but at a certain extent it's just annoying.
@@WD_724 Nobody asked. Shut up. Either man did or didn't get the achievement, doesn't change things for you either way. Next time, try saying something nice instead.
The trailer and the heist itself were really great and all, but they missed one big part of it which nobody told us: you can get downed in casing mode.
Solid gameplay Kknowley! Very nice to know that the achievement counts as long as you _step into the escape_ before the 7 minutes. Really liked the fact that you enter the building early, to trigger Locke's eventual objective marker for the computer - your strategy is pretty much the same as mine, with some minor differences! Since you mentioned you'll continue attempting to lower your time, my current best for the Pacifist achievement is 5m36s in DSOD (for Titan cams and, I assume, more civs / guards), so that at least is feasible!
Literally did this achievement with 3 people 2nd try an hour after the Heist came out in 2m 40s and did it solo in 6m15s the next day after like maybe 4 tries - I don't think this update was particularly challenging for most as it already has a higher % of achievement completions than even Lost in Transit did a week after release (at least amongst my friends list and people I've seen completing)
Just got the achievement today, a few hours before your video dropped. I found the hardest part to be the loot securing, plenty of runs were failed due to guards spotting a hostage or broken camera just as I entered the documents room. One run was even failed because I ran over the two civs at 8:28 haha, though I had almost no ecm time left so that one was already a lost cause. I must've also gotten really unlucky, as I've heard the guard passing through the lab is really uncommon, yet I got him on plenty of runs for him to spot my civs, and the lady on the stage got spotted way more frequently than you mentioned it happened to you. I had fun running the achievement, but at times I was malding over my RNG lol.
This seems like a solid achievement, and it's nice to see more games encourage speedrunning as a part of the core game, as i feel like it encourages a lot of creativity from the players, as well as the developers themselves, in how they design the levels to accommodate these strategies!
I had lot of fun doing this with a friend of mine. Doing this solo is much harder than 2. 4 mins are plenty due to the fact you van start the rush after 2 min
I did it with a friend yesterday. I usually don't care much for speedruns but still. After loads of tries we got a good RNG combination and got it at 3:37 on the timer.
I personally think this one of the easier 'speedrun' achievements. 'The Auction Cry' is still the hardest imo. In my first 30 minutes of attempts I managed a 6:51, which was invalidated. (I killed the chief scientist. Not a strong reader :P) This attempt didn't utilize any special strategies, so I wasted a lot of time doing the objectives in order. Returning to it today I managed a 5:05. This was due to equal parts rng and planning. This achievement seemed hard when reading its description, but it was fairly easy to be honest. A proper strategy is all you really need to shave minutes off your time. The route I used. I would definitely recommend you doing something similar. Start with the Neo-2 (avoids lockpicking the safe as the civ with the code is already there) Loop back around and start gathering dirt (get a keycard as well, spawns in the office/security room or on civs in green) Proceed to the lab. Mark the chief scientist (He's usually somewhere around the research center at this point) Get to work destroying the equipment. (This step can be done before getting the access tag, do this first if he's in a bad spot) Get the access tag and start gathering the bags Lastly, move and secure the bags (Preferably with the golf cart to save time)
I disagree with this being "one of the new hardest achievements in game" since I feel things like one down goat sim or bomb forest trump this by miles in the context of solo runs IMO but regardless great video
really enjoyed doing this achievement as a duo, managed to get it in 2m 50s. Figuring out a really efficient path and executing it effectively was so much fun. Although we did theorise about running the golf cart we ultimately did it with the zipline to the south entrance. Was super annoying though as I found some of my ECM jammers being eaten for no reason. Regardless super fun, my favourite path was using PA and running through the lab doors as the scientists exited, happy with that optimisation.
I used the same pre-plans when I got this achievement on release. Got lucky with the guy coming out of the lab at the start and skipped the camera room, ended at 5 and a half minutes
My recommendations to start -> ukranian job, jewel store -> bank heist series -> diamond store (all up to here are kill guard heists) Once confident enough with those -> yacht heist, shadow raid, art gallery, car shop (You need to learn to sneak around guards, plenty of room for error)
On loud there's a bug when the lab has water and electricity on the floor where you can keep getting infinitely electrocuted after getting out of the room.
it's honestly VERY easy to do in a 4 man tean in 4 minutes. we did it on the second try and two of the players hadnt played the map before. i did both of the lab parts together with one of the new guys just running afte rme and helping and the ither two did the other two parts. pretty easy. and ecm rushable with a team of 4. btw: there is a maintenance guy in the lab. he has a kc. so, you don't need to rely on getting the one from the security room
While i wouldn't say it's an easy achievement, it's thankfully way easier and less depending on RNG (and also a lot more fun) than solo Auction Cry. That being said it didn't stop me from failing it at least 3 times by ramming the golf cart into a pair of civilians that can spawn on the bench near escape van and at least twice by getting spotted on both 1st and 2nd office floor, having to pacify and tie up all civilians there and having no cable ties left for CSO as a result. I guess that kind of shows how big of a deal not being able to kill civilians is, especially when the standard approach is to just gun them on sight if they get in a way.
Sub 2? Damn, I played this with 2 friends and we could barely get a 4 minute completion after a few hours trying. Then again, we aren’t super great at stealth, so I'm not surprised that a well optimised team can halve that time
Did you learn anything about what makes the investigators spawn? It seems less likely when you do things out of the intended order. My winning run was the first time I didn't have them spawn.
En mi opinión de alguien que ya tiene el logro, no es tan difícil como se hace ver, claro siendo nivel bajo es difícil pero todo tiene su truco y aunque es el logro más simple que he visto el problema es el camino de los guardias en su y los civiles
Hello. Me again. We restored all our electric generators and power lines. In my region we didn't have a blackout for almost a month. Just yesterday something hit Odesa and they had no power, but this is a relatively easy fix. For half of a year of kremlin military has been trying to make us surrender by destroying power infrastructure. They shot hundreds of rockets, wasted millions of dollars and achieved nothing. Soon the war will be over. Then we welcome everyone. Especially Kknowley, who made the blackouts more bearable for me. Liberated and rebuilt Mariupol will be a sight to behold.
Nah, not even close compared to Auction Cry. Me and two other homies did it on third try, you can ECM rush it from start to finish if you got a full team.
Payday 2 challenge idea: Play payday 2 from A to Z Complete every heist (and possibly variations like bank deposit, transport heists and Ukrainian job) in alphabetical order. For example go from alesso heist to bank to breakfast in Tijuana, to car shop. As for rules, I dont know, maybe you can only use guns and equipment with the same starting letter as the heist, if there isn't anything with the same name you can't use what's in the slot so you'd be beating safehouse raid with a saw and other stuff starting with S
I bet it aint even hard its just a majority of players will never waste their money on anything past legacy collection. Everything past legacy is overpriced compared to it lol.

I’m under the assumption that it has something to do with civilian killing or difficulty, because they never spawned for me on these runs
At first I was very confused by the title but it makes sense if you are attempting this solo
When I initially scripted this video, I didn't realise how much easier it was with a team of 4! Still, super fun solo.
