Valentine dude is upset that the dad is creating such a high standard for his daughter to expect out of her boyfriend. Definitely glad you see it as the gaslighting that it is!
It's valentines day, the standard should be a kiss and hug 💀
Not really, no. On Valentine's Day, it should be a cute date or gifts or both. It doesn't have to be expensive. Just show that you care about your partner or family. @StxckyBxurritos
It's frustrating if a person doesn't want to do little things to make their partner happy. It doesn't take much at all to get someone flowers and chocolates.
I call bull on him saying that his friends thought it was weird, too. He probably just wanted to say what he could to make her feel bad.
Mark is jealous of his girlfriend's own father, it's weird. He's also jealous because he can't (or rather won't) buy flowers and chocolate for his girlfriend, this dude is a walking red flag
This dude is furious that her dad makes sure her standards aren't below sea level
my mom used to get me and my brothers chocolate for valentine's day. then last year after we suffered a loss in our family she forgot. i got her chocolate instead. i left it on her desk so she'd see it when she woke up and started working.
Bro the guy in the first story definitely has a bad relationship with hos dad. She needs to leave him immediately.
first story, i wish my dad was like that. Seems like a loving father-daughter relationship. I grew up in an abusive household and 2 DV relationships so i envy ya
Hope you're doing better now!❤
Hope youre doing better! 👍
my dad always gets me little treats/snacks or stuffed animals & not just for valetine's day. just in general. it's sweet & shows me he cares & loves me. the bf is just jealous, werid & insecure.
My dad buys me v’day gifts every year since I was little till an now adult I never had a bf be that jealous before and that goes to show that they never had a dad that loves them and she needs to break up with him asap
First Story: No Girllll! That is absoulutely not creepy, why are you thinking that?
Second Story: I Maybe would give this friend 40$ of the 50 $ she won.
I think the boyfriend should search what Valentine's day is cause he doesn't seem to know or understand that it's not just for romantic love, but love in general. Friends, family, and romantic partners. It's a love day and there are many types of love
Valentine's Day is not only for couples. Mark just jealous and possibly lazy to get stuff for his girlfriend.
I have a sneaking suspicion the friends only thought it was weird because that's what Mark wanted them to say.
I’ve (19) grown up with my dad giving me, my mom, and all my siblings (including my brother) a flower and chocolate every year around Valentine’s Day… that’s not weird at all! It’s sweet!
My dad is also the type to take us all on daddy-daughter dates for our birthdays, and he takes my brother out for his birthday too. I personally really don’t think it’s weird.
That dad sounds like a great guy. Like basically what Mark is saying is that a dad treating his child well is creepy.
First story reminds me of that one from a while back where the (step?)dad sounded like he looked like an absolute tank of a man while also being extremely caring of his daughter and the boyfriend told the girl to distance herself from her dad because it was “weird” (or something similar). Point is, quit feeling threatened by your partner’s parents!
Story 1: Bro is angry her Dad is making sure she does not lower her standards.
First story: Boyfriend has a problem, maybe more than one. He is jealous of his girl’s father. This is not a good thing for any future relationship. Second story: I think that they should split the money. It was the first girl’s money but it was her friend who won the games.
The boyfriend is pretty weird. My father gets me and my sister gives gifts for Valentine's Day. He usually gets us a stuffed animal and flower or a stuffed animal and chocolate. It's a sweet tradition that he does!❤
I sure hope the daughter doesn’t hurt her dad’s feeling’s over some stupid guy.
On one hand, yes that is a red flag to think it's creepy to get Valentine's presents from parents, but maybe not because he's jealous (definitely a possibility, ofc) but what if his relationship with his dad WAS creepy? I mean, his friends thinking it's weird is also weird, but I wonder what makes him think that it's creep behavior, specifically. Sometimes people who experience these things notice things and associate them to their own trauma without knowing what is ACTUALLY going on.
Bruh my dad does the same kinda.. chocolates and plushies/stuffies since always same with my sister and brothers and does a full on day for my mom that us his kids help out preparing that's not even creepy at all maybe is some traditions in some places or full on actions of love that come from the heart the bf of that girl is fng jealous my bf is like that's so sweet of your dad to do not full on ew that's creepy or anything like that
2nd story, give her 1/2 the winnings
0:42 Well done, Kyutie!! Nailed the basis for the Valentine gifts in one. Also Valentine's Day gifts are to express love. Not lust necessarily (though they may well do so, especially if lingerie is sent). Additionally, always getting a Valentine's Day gift means OP has never missed out on the special day.
0:05: The first man a girl will ever love is her father. Maybe Mark wasn't loved by his parents as much as OP was loved by her dad.
3:07: OP should give her the $50, and maybe OP shouldn't leave his computer on with a gambling website he frequents on the screen.
So the last story about the gambling in remember reading it and in an update he said "well another friend gained much more so I would owe him that as well" (if I remember correctly it was 3000$ of winnings), dude shouldnt be gambling at all
I'm in my freaking 30's and my dad is literally the only person I've ever gotten Valentine's stuff from. I've gotten a stuffed dog once from a friend and a cupcake before from another friend. But other than that, I've never gotten anything from my previous relationships before. Even in my longest relationship he randomly decided to ignore me on Valentine's Day/ the entire week of it, for 2 years in a row.
It's literally no different than your parents buying you presents for other holidays like Christmas, or for your birthday. I agree if it was lingerie then it would be inappropriate. Everything else is fine, especially chocolate and flowers. As you said it sets an expectation for the child's future relationships. And since the boyfriend has such an issue with it, you already know he wouldn't ever do the same thing if they happened to have children together. He would rather have his child be miserable and receive nothing.
you were literally my childhood, you look so pretty
The bf is low standard.
He watches too much corn. She should RUN
The gambling thing: New guy took me to a casino to play blackjack, never played it for real before. He bought me some chips and I noted the amount he spent. Won it all back and then some, then gave him his stake money back, and he was a little miffed, as though I should give it all to him. Uh uh. After the first three hands, every decision was mine alone, and I was winning so often that other people were all standing behind me to bet on my cards (which I didn't even know was a thing!) It horrified me, that not only was I potentially capable of losing the stake money (but I made that back quite quickly) but also other people's so I stopped playing, even though he wanted me to keep going. Yep, he was a gambler, and I'm not so it didn't last.
My mom likes to get my siblings and I gifts for valentines. I feel like there is nothing wrong w/ the dad sending her gifts! He’s teaching her not to settle!
I love these vids the stories are so crazy😭 love u Kyutie
OMG kyutie I haven't seen your videos in years I'm so glad youtube recommended this for me, im also more glad that you're still active, this is brilliant, like nothing changed
First story: tho only red flag there is = the boyfriend
i used to watch your videos ALL the time when i was younger then i stopped using youtube for a while and forgot your channel name but i just found you again and i’m going to spend all night watching you!!
Absolutely not creepy!!!
bruh what? my father used to give me a chocolate rose. *edited to add: along with a card
Like I so badly wanna binge watch u reacting to rotten mango no other UA-camr just u
Drop the bf, he ain't worth ruining a beautiful father and daughter bond over.
If the dad doesn't give his sons chocolate & flowers, then he is definitely creepy. Doing it only for his daughters? If he doesn't give her wife that's even more creepy.
I guess he wanted to take over the dad's place. But I'm not too certain about it.
Something I’ve noticed is that When a father acts nurturing towards his kids society tries to pervert it. Let a man be a father, he’s making sure his little girl NEVER settles for less. It isn’t creepy, forget about what Mark thinks. Let’s normalize LETTING men act like good fathers instead of villainizing them when they act affectionate.
Can you do a updated makeup tutorial? Your makeup is so pretty :)

How are you doing sweetie? How are you feeling? I hope just great!! In the very first story, bump your boyfriend because he doesn't understand the concept of being a parent and how far parents will go for their children. I wish that they were more dads who actually did this for their daughters. Just by him even making a filthy statement like that shows exactly how immature he actually is. When I was a little kid I used to recieve Valentine's Days Cards and gifts from my mom, Aunts', and my Grandma too. The boyfriend is straight up uncanny. Mark should start buying her gifts and presents for Valentine's Day instead of being bitter and sulky about all of those wonderful gifts that her dad sends her.. In the second story, honestly he should give his friend majority of thr money because it's quite obvious to see that she's very at gambling. I love you my friend!! Have a nice day!! Stay safe!!
i used to watch you when i was little all the time i’m so glad i found this channel🥹
