I'm not saying the kids shouldn't be held accountable for their actions, but the parents also need a reality check, because if they raise a spoiled kid they're gonna get a spoiled kid

This I agree with a lot. If you're gonna be a parent at least raise your kids right😂

I'm glad these kids grew up to learn and correct their behavior. Most parents wouldn't care and continue to teach their kids how to be entitled, until it's too late and the damage can't be undone.

Parents need to learn that they can’t give their kids everything they want, even if they physically can. It’ll lead to bratty behavior and helplessness when they’re adults.

I have a friend whose parents are LOADED. However, she is super low-key about it. But every time I visit their house I'm like "holy crap, imagine if I had all this growing up" when seeing their jacuzzi, private bar, movie theater room, several expensive cars, a nice boat, a seaside cottage nearby with a pond, huge kitchen with a lot of appliances, private library etc etc, not to mention a huge chunk of land.

This isn't a spoiled kid moment but sometimes the parents would coop up their children to the point of overprotection through the use of fear. So the moment they're actually facing problems and being independent as they're older, some kids would rather be shut-ins than take over their responsibilities on their own because they grew up with fear thanks to their parents inducing it.

My family wasn't super well off, but my mom was a SAHM. I'm spoiled in that my parents didn't really make my brothers and I do chores regularly growing up. I didn't know laundry soap was called detergent until I was probably 16 or so.
I've been moved out of my parents' place for over 2 years now, and it's obvious that I still struggle to do them.
PSA to any parents: teach your kids to regularly do chores. It'll feel like less of a burden as they get older

I kinda understand the last person tbh. I grew up in South America too. And the cost of living, let alone hiring help is much MUCH cheaper than in North America. We had a maid, multiple cars, I went to private school, etc.; things that would be considered a luxury in the US or Canada, are pretty normal for most middle class people.
That being said, my parents were very careful not to raise a spoiled brat and I would’ve DEFINITELY met the chancla if I had yelled at my mom something like that 😅

My parents didn't spoil us with money but with love ig?
My mom never forced us to do any household chores growing up, and being the lazy person that i am, I'm 23 now and still take so much time to do anything.
It's funny because we weren't doing financially well but still I managed to turn out spoiled😂😂

She could’ve been paying for it herself. I’d guess she has a part-time job.
Or maybe the parents do have jobs, but are putting aside buying a house because they want their child to have a good education.
      These are just guesses, though.

How are you doing sweetie? How are you feeling? I hope just great!! In the very first story, he was a very bad father. In the second story, watch how you treat people. In the third story, this just says that they were taken advantage of and using their mom for their selfish gaines so when she got very sick they finally realized and came to the full conclusion that their mom isn't always going to be around. In the fourth story, I bet that they were a complete jokester and prankster while they were in high school, and so that is exactly why they were late registering for colleges. It's time to grow up because your mom who now lives 8 hours away from you can't help you at all. It's all up to you to be responsible. In the fifth story, so did the sister stop speaking to her brother for times? He should be very ashamed of himself for all of his disrespectful actions towards his sister. I wish his sister the best!! In the sixth story, yeah that is called responsibility and being in the real world, and if you ever forget to pay them then they will most certainly turn those utilities off immediately. In the seventh story, I was born in 1985 and I got to do so many fun and exciting things and I am always thankful to have had those experiences, and I did it all without any social media either. In the eighth story, while you're complaining about not being right in your life or going your way just remember that there's always somebody out there in the world who has it worse than you. In the ninth story, the second part of that story is always scaring when you think that you're actually going to lose your parent, and for the first part of the story her ungrateful nephew just neededd every single thing taken away from him because news flash he earned none of it. I love you my friend!! Have a great day!! Stay safe!!
