dryer makes noise when tumbling fixed Bosch nexxt series 8000 removed and replaced drum

Is your dryer making noise when tumbling. This video diagnoses a loud banging noise when the dryer is tumbling. The quick synopsis and what I fix in this video:
The dryer drum was broken at the rim. The Drum support wheels were fine. The drum bearing was also fine. The drum band was fine.
The fix was to order a used drum from a seller on Amazon. It shipped in a few days. Then take the back off the dryer. Using a torqs bit and a drill. Then loosen the tension spring, take off the bearing and pull the drum out.
Check for wear on your wheels and band. Then put it back together. When putting it back together make sure to check if you reset the switch below the tension spring. It will have springs on it. You'll feel it click when you push it.
This was a Bosch nexxt 8000 electric tumble dryer.

My Bosch dryer is making a noise in 2 second intervals when it is tumbling but it is not a metal clang noise but rather a bit more of a bass noise and it's coming from the rear side. Sometimes it will do a quick double "toc" noise. And it seems that it is not drying too well. It took 3-4 hours instead of 1-2 to dry. What could it be?

Great informative video and I was able to successfully change the rollers. But, my dryer still makes a noise and it sounds like a motorcycle. Although, it makes noise, it doesn’t have any performance issues. Do you have any idea what it could be? Could it be the blower or the motor? Please let me know if you have any clue. Thanks

Hi Kash...sorry to hear that issue. I'd move the barrel by hand and feel if it's dented, check the band that pulls it around, and make sure the mounts under the moter etc are all secure. The actual bearing that holds and spins the drum can make a ton of noise if it's shot. Good luck...post back when you figure it out!
