Pursuing general surgery within the military and I was 3/5 for moderate conscientiousness, high extroversion, and low neuroticism. Definitely agree on the latter. You can’t get your feelings hurt too easily belonging to surgery or the military.
Last time I took a test on this, I scored highest to lowest: aggreableness, extroversion, openness, conscientiousness, and lastly neurotic. I perform well on tests because I tend not to fear them, but I would still say I have a healthy enough fear of failure to stay motived and achieve excellence, it just isn't always the main motivator. Glad to see oncology matches with those highest in aggreableness
I knew cardiology would fit me. I fear failure to such an extent I am always considering backup plans, and ifs, and trying to find solutions to the problems, and whenever I do get stressed out I've been learning how to calm myself down and look at other options/alternatives I'm big on planning and having alternatives/backup plans in mind to be prepared to fight for the worst :>
I match very well with Pediatrics and Emergency medicine. I love spontaneity, hate the mundane, enjoy talking to people and I’m generally empathetic. However Emergency medicine isn’t as developed in my country yet, so I guess it’ll be peds.
Day two of begging for pediatric surgeon! I really wanna be one but there’s practically nothing online 😭 I love your videos and know you could provide wonderful insights
I want to be an Anesthesiologist for the flexibility and as you put it in a earlier video, I like the idea of being the guardian angle of a patient during surgery. This video has only confirmed that it would probably be a good fit for me!
Hmmm, I have always longed to specialize in Cardiology or cardiothoracis surgery, but this test is pointing my strengths towards, emergency medicine, trauma surgery, global health... so interesting
Sad to see ophthalmology missing once again xD I'm starting residency in 2 years and my only alternative to ophtha is otolaryngology. So I think they're really similar.

I took Jordan Peterson's test called: Understanding Myself- The Big Five Aspects Scale. This video was really great and eye-opening. I am glad you did it thanks!
i'm - Openness = 52.3% - Conscientiousness = 77.2% - Extraversion = 9.85% - Agreeableness = 39.75% - Neuroticism = 75.06% and i'm applying for pathology. please dont put me with ppl. my combo of terrible extraversion and high neuroticism makes me extremely nervous and anxious around people. And then adding the agreeableness makes me anxious people pleaser that's scared of them. I'm best left in a closet where I can solve problems and figure things out
Scored high in eveything but Extraversion. I did a comparison to all the specialty named on the video and I got plastic surgery as the most picked specialty. I don't like plastic surgery because it's doesn't align with my values. I am in college for nursing right now but still not sure what i want to specialize in. I feel like i juggle between a relaxing environment and than fast and upbeat. Everything looks very interesting that I'm not sure what I would like unless I experience the field. This doesn't mean i am going to pick this specialty because of the comparison I did. This was just for fun. Thanks for the video.

Heavily pursuing the field of neurology and openness was my highest trait at 81%
same! mine was 92% so i was really happy when i saw it🤗
same mine was 95% and i'm most interested in neurology too!
Same!! I'm going into either Dermatology or Neurology, but I'm unsure which one yet.
I just get a pen and book. It’s time for learning. Med insiders 👌

Sad to see ophthalmology missing once again xD

Check out SYWTB Ophthalmologist and Otorhinolaryngologist on our channel!
@@MedSchoolInsiders Thank you! I did right after you uploaded those. Turns out ophthalmology is perfect for me, as I thought starting med school :D
I feel they are similar but ophtha is cooler
@@aluminiumknight4038 exactly my thought. :D I will try out both though.

Why is OB/GYN on the list by both low neurotocism and high neurotocism
In this video, we outline that high Neuroticism, specifically in the anger sub-trait, is not a good fit for OB/GYN. 12:39
Not a single co-resident or one of my partners is ANYTHING but neurotic! 😂
So basically, every speciality fits my personality. Well taht certainly narrows it down...
You must be well suited to become a doctor!
interesting video
why isnt ophthalmotology anywhere on the scale lol
So you want to be oncologist pls
