If you notice we don't showcase any rooms. There are several types of rooms with different views and layouts. You are better served if you go directly to the GR Solaris's website to view their offerings. What we can tell you is the rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable!
Just a tip, ppl really appreciate a real life view from a person to see how it will actually look. Regardless if you can show just 1 room or all of them. It's a good indication

Thanks for this very thorough and detailed review of the Grand Solaris in Cancun. We just came back from there a week ago and will return. The Shows in the Salon / Theatre were first rate and entertaining. We were amazed at how hard and well the staff worked. Did you ever go to the Coco Bongo in Downtown Cancun ? If it's just my wife and I, we like the Royal. When we bring friends, we stay at the GR Solaris. However, the last several years, we've been going to Royal Solaris in Cabo. It's a completely different vibe.

You are able to take shuttle to all resorts and go to any of the restraunts, just be sure to talk to staff about making reservations..we go to all the restraunts at each resorts.. when we are there..Does GR Solaris still have breakfast at Marco Polo at GR Solaris for members?

I am now last day at GR Solaris. Traveling with two kids. This hotel is 3.5 star i would give. Buffet is very small option compared to other 3 hotels that I’ve been in Cancun. Kids pool is next to the bar pool which i didn’t like. Ocean is always angry with huge waves for the 10 days of out stay and lots of sea weeds. Room were perfect with ocean front. Will not be back .
great video my only suggestion would be to include if the restraunt/deli is included in all inclusive or an additional fee when you're showing the restraunt

The GR Solaris is larger so you can enjoy the main pool which is much more active, plus they have the quiet pool if you want to relax. I love the Royal but unless you're on the beach, it is much more active/loud around the pool. Remember, if you stay at one you can use all three resorts.

Everything is included with your all-inclusive price. All the restaurants are listed at 10:45 in the video, with all the hours of operation, even lunch.
Hello, thanks for the video. I am booked to go here next month. I was wondering, are we able to eat at the buffets of all 3 solaris resorts? Also, at the ala carte restaurants, are dress pants mandatory or will jeans be accepted?
Hi Ruth, all Solaris members can access all the resorts. I am hearing conflicting, recent reports, about hotel guests not being able to "reserve" tables in the sister resorts. You can definitely use the ones that do not require a reservation.

GR Caribe - most mellow w/access to the Royal., Royal - most active, GR Solaris is a combination. If it just my wife and I, we usually go to the Royal. When we bring guests, we stay at the GR Solaris.
Any seafood, any Mexican food, any grilled items are the best. Make reservations for the sit down restaurants, so you don't have to eat buffets all week. There are so many choices, you'll always find something good. You can order as much as you want. I hope this helps.

Jeans are acceptable. I am pretty sure you can eat at the GR and Royal buffets for breakfast/dinner. The Caribe only has the breakfast buffet.

They have entertainment in the main lounge at night. They have shows nightly in the theater. No night clubs.
