This was my first introduction to the stones, it was my sophomore year of high school my art teacher would play under my thumb and give me shelter everyday that year, one of the greatest teachers I ever had, this just goes to show that Brian contributions can change a whole song

Sgt Pepper became the industry standard for how an album would be made from then on. It's not an unpopular opinion to say they're the greatest of all time, you could probably pull up any magazine's 'Top 100 bands ever' and the Beatles would top most if not all of them. I'm not Stones hater, Richards is a pioneer of distortion, I love most of the big Stones tracks, and I'm a fan of a few of the deep cuts, but Let It Bleed just absolutely pales in comparison to Sgt Pepper or Revolver.
Saw them last Thursday in Foxboro Stadium . They didn't play this and quite a few other songs but they have so many good tunes they can't fit them all in a 2 hour show. Still bad ass for 80 year old guys

I work at target, there was this one time me and my colleagues were talking about our favorite musicians. I cited Brian Jones as one of my all time favorites and then something magical happened. The little red rooster, paint it black, and then this song played on the overhead speakers all next to each other. Such an underrated song. One of those 50 or so songs by the Beatles you never hear on radio or gets found on their greatest hits but every other band in the world would kill to claim as theirs.
