    Proves that The Rolling Stones are one of the greatest bands of all time. Very unique, especially in the 1960’s. I will always love this song.

    My sister scored tickets to the Tatoo You concert In Landover maryland in 1981, December I believe. We had an absolute blast and this tune was the opening. The whole stage rotated from the beginning of the song. Thanks sis, for turning me on to one of the the greatest memories of music ever!!

    I graduated high school in 1997. Heard this song for the first time working at a stereo store in the mall back then. Every time I tried to sell a stereo system I would put this song in. In my opinion, even the worst stereo back then could be made to sound good with this song rocking through it. It still resonates through me to this day. Love this music!

      I'm here because I heard a cover of this song from a girl who sang it, and I've never heard it before and now that I've listened to it I think it's great :)
      No u wish, this song is sexist af. The reason that person did a cover of it was to show how sexist it was and to prove that in the world today things are getting better.     This was my first introduction to the stones, it was my sophomore year of high school my art teacher would play under my thumb and give me shelter everyday that year, one of the greatest teachers I ever had, this just goes to show that Brian contributions can change a whole song

      Was in 9th grade when this came out in 1966. One of my classmate friends was not allowed to listen to the Stones. His mother was pretty strict. Too bad other mothers let their children turn this country into what it is now

      @@thestones2789 first of all, don't play the brainwash card cause it's by far the scummiest way to dismiss someone's argument. Sgt Pepper became the industry standard for how an album would be made from then on. It's not an unpopular opinion to say they're the greatest of all time, you could probably pull up any magazine's 'Top 100 bands ever' and the Beatles would top most if not all of them. I'm not Stones hater, Richards is a pioneer of distortion, I love most of the big Stones tracks, and I'm a fan of a few of the deep cuts, but Let It Bleed just absolutely pales in comparison to Sgt Pepper or Revolver.

    Saw them last Thursday in Foxboro Stadium . They didn't play this and quite a few other songs but they have so many good tunes they can't fit them all in a 2 hour show. Still bad ass for 80 year old guys

    Keith Richards is recommended a blues record at a record store and purchases it. As he is walking home Mick Jagger sees the album Keith is carrying and says “hey man, I like that kinda music to”. A conversation started and the rest is history

      @@megagrips6470No there is not. There is only people trying to copy real creativity. There is also some awesome technical beasts like Bonamassa and many other young musicians. But someone like Jacob Collier or Chris Stapleton couldnt write a real rocknroll classic even if their lives depended on it. Capitalism turned art into a meaningless profit hunt. Almost zero real songwriter genius - Dylan's, Lennon's or for god sake even someone like Robert Johnson. Real innovators.

    Another Brian Jones classic. Jones neglected to put his name on the songwriting credit, but he deserves a major if not lion's share credit for this number. I hope people now understand that just because Brian for some odd reason didn't insist on songwriting credit for work he did indeed DO, that doesn't mean he "couldn't write songs." He could and did.

      @@misterx5115 yes im a stones fanboy youre right...i just said that was micks explanation why he dont give credits...but the fact is he and keith wrote 95 % of the songs...you cant do an overdub or add some solo or some instrument like brian and ask for credits...i know jones and taylor and bill were fucked on some songs but thats maybe a couple of songs, for example taylor said himself that he was angry for not getting credits on 3 songs i think...and people are writing like there is 50% not written by jagger richards...
      I dont know why i even argue, stay safe friend and enjoy the music

    Bill Wyman had a great way of wrapping many Stones songs with his basslines...he is very underrated as musician imho

    This is a perfect pop song of the kind the Stones used to specialise in recording back when Brian was in the band… they really were such an interesting, innovative band in those days!

    I work at target, there was this one time me and my colleagues were talking about our favorite musicians. I cited Brian Jones as one of my all time favorites and then something magical happened. The little red rooster, paint it black, and then this song played on the overhead speakers all next to each other. This was very unusual music to be played at a target but I firgured it was prabably the the spirit of Brian Jones showing his appreciation

    I love this song so catchy and just amazing one of the greatest bands of all time . Still making tours happen at their age it’s so great. For me it’s a close tie between the stones and the kinks I love the kinks . Getting drunk and listening to the stones is where it’s at smoke a big fat one and listen to the kinks lol

    Allman brothers did a great cover of this song live which is floating around with fans, it was put on a rare fundraiser CD once but it's hard to find.
