I am just about to hit 300 hours of comprehension and I will say my sentence structure has advanced so much from 100. Keep going it’ll only get better!
That is amazing. I can’t wait to hit 300 hours or so. I stopped tracking my hours after 120 hours or so, so in a few months we’ll see. Any thing you listen to in particular?
Youre so awesome…. Period. Pls keep going. You’re vulnerability has single handily inspired me to speak more. And I’ve significantly improved. 🙏🏽🙏🏽 thank you for being you.
Confession time. I started watching dreaming Spanish because of you. Granted, I already knew a little Spanish. But I am coming up on 20 hours and already. I have shown a lot of improvement. I went to the meet up app and joined a group called Espacio Afro and I get to speak with other people learning twice a week. That helped me out a lot. You are progressing very well. Please keep up the good work.
I appreciate the effort you've put on proper pronunciation. Your pronunciation is good. That's important because no queremos sonar como gringos cuando hablamos español. In English, we can say I have been studying spanish for 4 months. In Spanish, that would be "he estudiado español durante cuatro meses." Durante -- not por or para. Realizar is more like... to carry out something (meaning some sort of action carried out). Me di cuenta is I realized. Por ejemplo, "Cuando llegué al nivel B1, me di cuenta de que aprender español es como escalar una montaña enorme." And that's the truth. LOL
Hi! Thanks for pointing that out! I will be more mindful of “durante” when talking about the amount of time I’ve been learning instead of “por.” Agh. I just learned that realizar is a “false friend” the other day. Thank you! ☺️
Well done, very understandable. This is the best way to learn and speak. Just do it. The details will straighten out later. Seek out native speakers, listen, and keep talking! :)
Just keep talking, 😮 listening. It takes time. I've been learning Spanish for 4 years now, and I st, ll make mistakes and will continue to make mistakes, but in t, me it will , e minimal. My wife is from Spain and is fluent in English (20 years) and is a professor of Spanish linguistics, and she still makes mistakes. Just be realistic about learning languages. It's not a race. It's a journey. You sound amazing. Keep up the good work, guapa.
Great job! I took a 3 year breaking studying Spanish and was very apprehensive to start again. Thanks to you I started Dreaming Spanish and studying again. You’re doing very well.
Your on track for 4 months , I’m coming up on 3 years, a few channels that helped me after the 1 year mark that i wish i knew about earlier , Qroo Paul / language tutor Spanish / spanishland school
I felt that way from 4 months to a year I’m almost at 3 years now. Learn sentence starters and different Word structures, qroo paul has a good chanel for that Highly recomend it, listen to spanish music learn new Words you hear
The advice that I am giving to myself right now is “a little bit, everyday” and the classic “slow and steady wins the raise.” I know that I won’t always see progress week to week, sometimes not even month to month. After watching others acquire the language with no background, I KNOW it can be done. The question is, will I be consistent enough to get it done?
Keep up the good work! You'll get better in no time. You have the dedication required to get to the next level.
I appreciate this so much. It has been difficult, but I will continue. Muchas gracias!
Love these kind of videos. Inspires me to just go for it when it comes to speaking. The kinks just iron themselves out! We laugh and we keep going. 👌🙌
Continuaré! Muchas gracias.
Muy bien. Vale la pena.
Love the vulnerability in this video! These are the type of video that makes us better! Espero que hablamos en español una dia!

Any advice for people who feel stuck in their progress? Currently at this roadblock and I feel like I can’t advance further for some reason.
