You have been enjoying life, Mexico recently and Nicaragua, esooooo. When are we going to get that speaking progress video though...👀. Que no te de pena. Me ayudó mucho ver mi progreso así y nos encantaria verlo
Hey Mike, I'm a big admirer of your Spanish learning journey. I recently rewatched a couple of your early iTalki videos when you were around 7-18 months into studying. I noticed at this stage you were already speaking quite well but you weren't as smooth as you are now. I would like to know the practical steps you took (so I can emulate your example) to elevate your Spanish from this "intermediate level" to the level you have now?
yaaaay congrats!! 🎉 really refreshing to see how you approach learning in a way that works for you, while incorporating DS along the way! what helps to actually keep going is what matters. and omg the way youre already so open to speaking, ahh goals hahah :') i'm always way too nervous about it, and some days i'm like i can speak! and other days im like i can't utter a word 😭 lol
@@xojaci Thank you much!! Yes, I agree! Whatever keeps us going is what works for us! Whenever something stops working, we can always try something else! I am nervous to speak English sometimes hahah, so I understand feeling nervous. Whenever you’re ready to speak, I am sure you’ll do great :-)
My plan is to watch dreaming spanish videos while taking notes of words I dont know then look them up taking notes and then watch the same video again. Thats my plan everyone learns differently but I do like dreaming spanish even without taking the nots. I also am in day 128 using duolingo. I also have the book you showed in the video but I'm still on the first or second page. LOL Gotta start reading more.

@@jaredrahsaan are you a teacher also? How long did it take to become conversationally fluent? I have been doing SpongeBob also, but I find myself struggling at times due to the speed. Hopefully in the next few months I’ll move my way back up to Bob Esponja 😀
@@shespeakspanish I’m a strength and conditioning coach but have worked in high schools where I’ve had to teach classes. I’m also using other tools and speaking unlike Pablo suggest. There's this short show called Extras on UA-cam it reminds me of friends but it's for Spanish learners I really like it
From Africa, been learning Spanish for 3 years now, comprehensible input works amazing
