Hi Mani: If that was honey, you can call it miel or miel de abeja. Some places they will just call it miel. And since I am thinking of it, maple syrup is jarabe de maple. 😊 I am in Mexico but I have traveled a lot and there are so many differences in every country! The nice thing is that usually people will understand and also teach you their way of saying something! Have fun!
The confidence you have as a newer learner to post videos/getting out onto the world to practice is inspiring. I agree with @mikeben you downplay your Spanish. Color me impressed
That’s good for a month of practice. Remember you’ll see a huge different at the six month mark. Even three months. 6 months is when everything will seem more natural.
Tu pronunciacion es muy natural. Te expresas con mucha claridad. Where do you live in the US? Your Spanish is great. Music helps. It's a tool that you might want to use. I recommend you to listen to Ricardo Arjona. Enjoy your trip!
I live in Tucson, AZ Count with me if you want to practice your Spanish. Just let me know
Hi Mike: Mani is really doing great! She is going to catch you before we know it seriously!! She is doing so many thing right! Watching her helps me stay on track! You too of course have been such an inspiration and motivation to me and many learners!

So that book alone helped you get this proficient ?
No, not at all.
