This is a highlights video of Clitheroe CC's final game of the 2023 season. Clitheroe's opponents are Littleborough CC. The game is played at Littleborough's Hare Hill ground in Division 1 of the JW Lees Lancashire Cricket League on 10th September.

Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to get these matches online. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed watching each and every one that you’ve put on-I particularly line the clips of conversation you and your mates are having as you never quite hear the full picture . I while away the hours imagining what the missing bits might have been. Anyhow, thanks again for putting these games up-have a great autumn/winter and I look forward to seeing Clitheroe again next year. Best wishes Keith

Thanks, David. It's been a strange season particularly weather-wise but also in terms of performances. The final day sums it up - despite some disappointing results Clitheroe still had an outside chance. The one element we had control of, our performance against Littleborough, proved a step too far. Had we beaten Littleborough and bowled them out, we would have tied the League with Burnley and be in a play off today for the championship. I don't begrudge Burnley their title; they are a strong team and a decent set of guys.

@@keithfawcett5150 reckon its correct how the season has panned out Keith. Weatherwise not ideal when a game is hindered by stop, start and countless times when the covers had to come on and off. Disrupts proceedings immensly, All the best Keith and see you next season
