- This is yet another highlights video of Clitheroe CC 1st XI. This time Clitheroe play Lowerhouse CC. Both teams play in Division 1 of the JW Lees Lancashire Cricket League. The game was played on 3rd August, 2023.
Brilliant coverage this season Keith
Just watched this Keith. Marcus Sharp is one hell of a bowler and good to watch. No throwing with him, as his action is old school. Just hope he continues as long as possible. All in all a great win against a team of overdoing it appealing. One starts and the rest join in, and dont know what for, as they never saw the ball pitching when fielding at long off or deep mid wicket. Seems to be the norm these days, and the bowler get very overexcited, when not given. Glad you have good umpires, who stand firm with their decisions. Great batting at the end, and the middle order came good at last, with no collapse. Thanks Keith for the great videos and commentary this season. Filming with your angles and close ups just gets better

As already stated, surely a couple of names being reported by the umpires to the board for “questioning the umpires decision”.

I find it hard to believe that there was someone older than Sharpy playing !!
That Sharpe guy looks unplayable!
I´m assuming there was a number of fines dished out for some pretty poor questioning of umpire decisions .
the standard of player behaviour in this league (and most) is awful
