7:15 - Honest question, how come you don't use fixture clamps, stops, etc more with your fixture table? Are you used to working on plain tables, or do you just use it really when tacking? Obviously, with handrails / non-critical pieces a little distortion is fine but I've just been curious for a while. I am entirely jealous of your fireball squares as well lol, one day I'll have some! Good work!
This is very cool project and idea there. This turned out really well. Very nice job tay and the gang.can’t wait to see what you guys fab up next. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friends. Forge On. Fab On. Weld On. Keep forge lit. Keep Making. God bless.
See. This is why I watch this channel. Creativity. The blending of engineering and art and spontaneity. Loved the work produced. Only issue on the install. The house did not go with the rails. At least that's the way I see it.
They look sick!! I make things from scrap metal (google Scrapbunker) so this project is dear to my heart. I'm torn between the clean painted look or if it had been all clear coated.🤔 Also cue all the "that's not to code!!" comments.🤣
Another GORGEOUS set of hand rails! Love them. On a side note, I actually liked the more raw vintage pre-powder coated version the best! But I can see that their beautiful home required a more refined look. Great job! And still thinking of those Swedish Fish! : )
We love his channel too! But so far he hasn't sent us anything! We purchased those squares with our own money because we love em! But on the tiny chance he reads this, we wouldn't be opposed to checking out some other tools... haha - Walker
only thing I would have tried mightily to do, would have been to save that Hercules badge on the one frame. I think it would have *just* popped beautifully against the powder coating.
I have the same squares and the magnetic shop shims and ive been extremely happy with both, im glad you did the angle breakdown in the beggining of the video, i still struggle with angles. I think you should drop alot more little nughets of wisdom along the way, great video and awesome build!!
Followed Fireball Tools for a few years! Cool to see their tools and then hear the shout out! His tools are better than the usual thing you review ;p Awesome video! I'm a happy bike mechanic to see this :)
Too bad he can’t take criticism and turned his comments off on all his videos and posts because people were saying you didn’t need a table like his to make square box’s accurate, he then proceeded to prove them wrong by going to different fab shops and only a few met the specs of the simple project. I like his videos but i won’t watch anymore because he turned comments off
Not suggesting you create plexiglass panels to make it "safe," but asking... if someone later added plexi to keep young arms, legs, & heads from going through, would it pass inspection?
You know how they say being on TV makes people look heavier, well UA-cam makes everything a lot bigger. That chest mounted GoPro makes your arms look like they're 10 feet apart. Is this true? 😋
So I have a question why do you make your music so much louder than normal audio? So when you measure things in CAD you know you can also measure on the other side. I program in Gibbs cam for a living and we do that for the guys all the time so they can see what they're doing when they're fabricating weldments. 😊
Yeah, it'll take some tweaking over time! We had the GoPro set to the widest field of view possible, but next time we'll have to tilt it up higher when Tay is welding because he likes to lean in as close as possible. So we had a little bit of a crotch cam going on during welding 😅
Depends. The code primarily focuses on balusters, but depending on design you can apply for a exemption, or it simply not even fall under code depending on where the handrail is being installed. This is why you will see handrails completely void of balusters at all often. For example when they are "middle" rails on wide steps, they don't need to fit baluster spacing codes as they are not meant to protect the user from falling over an edge. This allows very easily for more artistic filling of the space like he is doing.
Jason at fireball tools is great but can’t take criticism, he turned off all his comments because people were saying he didn’t need that fab table to make squares, he proved them wrong but still.
Very nice artwork! How do you manage the liability issues associated with non conforming handrails. My insurance does not cover me if I knowingly supply deficient/ illegal stair components. My attorney informed me that a waiver for nonconforming products is worthless and actually is an admission of deficiency.
OK You know how a bug can be trapped inside amber ?? and you have seen live edge table tops with voids and cracks filled in with epoxy ? and you have heard of the Antikythera Mechanism ? Put Em all together WOW !!!! That's my challenge ....GOOD LUCK !!
Killer execution on this project guys
Thank you thank you!
Full circle, I started following Lift Arch because I have followed Aaron for years.
This is great content!
I think the word is Elegant.
Nice perspective from go pro. Even Tay’s junk
Cleetus is RAD.

Looks amazing, great custom fabrication, like usual .

Concinity is the word you were looking for. The skillful and harmonious arrangement or fitting together of the different parts of something.
Very cool 🚲 👍🏻

Happy to see Fire Ball sending you tools. I love his channel too.

plenty of spikes to get snagged, i like it
Video Idea: A Day in my life as ____ ( or a week) .. good job on the video as always.
good job! I think maybe the coolest part of this is being able to work with you dad...memories you can't lose!
I wasnt sure how that would look in the end but dang that was sick looking!
Overhead shots are dope
Hi to Aaron! Great artist eye on these railings.
I love the POV footage! Great work!
Great Job. Finished Install Looked Great.

Highly creative!
Cool build!! Hi Aaron!
I’m sure it’s on your list but you need one of those radial tap/drill arms.
That’s a pretty cool railing, nice job!

Hello nerds. ! I mean it in a good way ❤.

Awesome project, I love it! To each their own, I found the chest cam really distracting.
Good to know! We always wanna try new stuff and sometimes the audience may not enjoy it! Thanks for the constructive feedback
@@LiftArcStudios Glad it was received in the spirit that it was given, Walker! It was a minor nit I was picking, and in general love the content!
Does the Ellis still do its coldstart?
The chest mounted camera is a good idea, you might have to work on the camera direction and field of view

how far are they from richmond va
Not code compliant but I like it just the same.

I'm tryna like it. I thought it may go outside. idk
Shakey cam is nauseating at times. Not to take anything away from the filmographer. A little is fine, but too much is... too much.
Yeah, they need a couple gimbals.
@@marclevitt8191 I'll take one. Just one would be more than enough.
Professional photographer comments? Or just picky ass grumps? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@wrstew1272 Just trying to keep my lunch down while watching one of my subscribed channels bro.

Cue the "That's not code," comments
I was waiting for that too.😆
I really enjoy your videos... but that music tho! JUST kidding! (maybe not) 😂
Too long... The frame in not interesting and doesn't deserve 9 minutes.. Video should have been 24:44 to 41:18
Very cool and unique project! I love it
Just wanted to be the first to say those do not appear to be up to code. :)
Terrible design!! Stick to welding. Junk looking piece to the max. Nothing new here
