the loss of auto attack healing and area of effect is the biggest thing at solak, zamorak, nex aod and terraket ed3. The damage is more consistent now but I really miss the fun factor of feeling invincible when the critical hits pop off.
I found a consistent way to use the ABS post changes seems to be working very well for me across the board: If your adrenaline is very high 80% and over and you've used your main hitting abilities you can abs. Then swap to conc when it's off cooldown and if adren is still very high use ABS again. Using conc before abs is also very good since it's +15% crit chance off gconc +12% crit chance off channeler's ring and +20% crit chance of channeler's ring on the last hit of ABS so it's almost a guaranteed crit, plus if any of your staff ability damage crits it's even more adrenaline so the effect cascades just not as pronounced as the pre-balanced staff. Reason why I chose 80% and over is if you do not crit at all and you simply lose the ABS spec adrenaline you are 1 gconc away from gaining back enough adrenaline to gstaff / threshold etc. so it's relatively safe to do seeing the high crit rate of gconc. Thought it's worth sharing :)
ABS has terrible damage. What made it good previously wasn't just the adren gain. It was the recursive crits that gave it potential for insane damage on top of the adren gain. Without the recursive crits, it's back to being terrible damage for the adren cost.

i dont have good dw for magic so im really feeling the damage loss now.... and i really have no interest in doing 4taa so it feels like ive lost a lot of damage now which kind of sucks , especially considering i dont have bils to get preasuls
The Crit Stick is now another EoF. Should have made the next skill gangsta rapping so they could have added a Busta Rhymes perk that allows wearing multiple chains.

NGL I felt the fun factor of using it is lessened alot . I loved the rng factor it felt good when it popped off was a buzz then it was annoying when it just "tickled" which made it more fun when it popped... But now it just feels meh.
I've noticed an increase personally, at least in my avg kill times, the rs guy has a rotation video, it definitely makes a big difference changing your rotation completely now.

Another great looking high tier weapon that disappears into an eof cause most people will camp dw and for people who 4taa especially at places like solak, will simply swap to inq staff instead... Really wish jagex would stop making eof-weapons, like the SGB, ZGS, ECB, EZK and instead give us some insentive for actually using the weapons and not just their specs...
I agree but outside of making specific types of weapon strong against specific bosses, it’s quite difficult to give widespread variety in weapons. EOF-scape is a good way to provide some validity to unused weaponry but I agree it shouldn’t be the only way. I’d much prefer bosses to have exploitable weaknesses but it seems passive effects are the way they’re going (think bolg). Corp being weak to spears is the kinda thing I’m thinking but I’m not sure that’s too limiting in how people like to play
Uhhhh 3 of those 4 weapons you mentioned were not made as eof-weapons lol. The only major reason you would put them in an eof now is current power creep. There's also literally no benefit to putting the FSOA in an eof. You'd be a fool to do so.

So you would only need the staff for 4taa at places Where you cant use inquisitors wich makes it kinda niche..
You would be making a colossal mistake to EoF this and you WILL regret, the ONLY reason it's a switch right now is simply due 2H magic abilities being weaker than GCB. But with GSW we've already seen the beginning of a new system "flow" for 2H's that will be built upon and it won't take much to eclipse GCB in time.

so what i get out of this is the nerfs only effect soloing bosses that shouldn't be solo'd and afking bosses with mechanics which shouldn't have been a thing to begin with? so nerfs that affect almost no1 except the 1% that can do those things even without the staff all in all good changes i didnt know what to expect since jagex does this so rarely.

Switched to range 500 Zammy's after staff update. The damage "rebalance" is wayyyy noticeable for those burst situations... sadge.
I noticed the DPM isn’t too much of a decrease in sustained DPM but in burst DPM where you have to deal which boss mechanics it’s a hit pretty hard
So is channeller’s ring better than reaver’s considering time strikes don’t crit and GCB is going to be used more?

Very average pvmer here and can still get through normal mode zuk kills and zammys fine
I've definitely not had the same experience I notice shit ton less damage my raksha kills have gone up by about 30 seconds avg
