This video brings back great memories of when I was a kid. The music back then was so clean and innocent. I loved all those groups like The DeFrancos, Partridge Family, and the Osmonds. Would love to see the DeFrancos perform together again. Also would love to have an album.

On this day in 1974 {February 2nd} the DeFranco Family performed "Abra-Ca-Dabra" on the late Dick Clark's 'American Bandstand'...
Two months earlier on December 29th it entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart; eventually it peaked at #32 and spent 12 weeks on the Top 100...
It reached #15 on the Canadian RPM Top Singles chart...
They had three records that made the Top 100; their biggest hit was "Heartbeat - It's A Lovebeat", it peaked at #3 on the Top 100...
    R.I.P. Mr. Clark {1929 - 2012}...

I remember this group but I was really just a very young child in the early 70s. What's too bad is that the group should have held together and leave behind their record company and get independence and write their own material instead having the classic divide and conquer and milk. I really loved this group. ♪♪
