I went to boonville to demo the 14-24 .Ethan from BruteForce was great, he answered all my questions let me run through it .The 8 way will produce the size my customers want .We will be ordering one from Ethan at BruteForce asap!
Always great to be able to run different types of machines. I think for what you are doing, having the splitting chamber right next to you is a good thing. Might be a little on the dangerous side, but what is life without a little danger. Hope to see more in the future. .
My wife was so happy to meet you guys ! Thanks for the time you spent with us, that was a pretty good show but I wish they operated more bigger equipment and did the completion with them !! Keep up the good work !!
My Wallenstein is pretty much the same unit as that, I have the seat option which is pretty nice. Later I'll email you a couple of things I do to make it work better on bigger logs. Rather than holding that big log while you cut instead roll it to the bar side then grab a sliver of split wood and jamb it under it so it doesn't roll back. This allows you to keep your hand out of the trim zone. Try to keep your hand out of the splitter chamber while saw is rolling. That's about the only way you can cut yourself with the bar. You also need to slow the bar down pressure on the bigger logs especially once the chain starts to get duller. And even though it is cutting good it's always better to sharpen the chain sooner than later.
Congratulations Jake & Chris, it was great to have met you in Boonville. Big shoutout to Josh & AJ at Brute Force for working a program with you guys. That is a very nice looking processor.
Very nice! This sort of changes things now doesn’t it? I love how you can easily re-split. No need for a separate splitter. I’ve seen the diesel version and they really move. Edit: Actually it was an 18-24 diesel.
oh hell yeah good buddy brigning home the goods! Time for the ultimate split off - who can fill the tote quicker? You? Chris? Sarah? Brute Force? Eastonmade? Lord only knows
Hello Jake, it was awesome meeting you Friday night and all the other fellow UA-camrs had a grand time there you are doing a great job of entertaining us and your videos are gaining traction. This explains why AJ gave you this processor to display for him. I honestly thought you were going to be the one to get the 40 C from Andrew. However, now I’m believing that it’s going to Mike Morgan because the last video I saw as he made an appearance at Eastonmade‘s booth, and what other reason would he have to appear there? Anyway, keep the great content coming. We all appreciate it. Cheers Mark from Niagara a.k.a. Woody.E
@@oldguyfirewood hello Dick all is well My friend had an amazing time Friday night. It was wonderful meeting so many like-minded people. Hopefully I can make it out to Paul Bunyan and have another get together with my new found friends. In the meantime, take care dick, stay safe and keep producing incredible content for us all to enjoy. Cheers Woody
it cuts, but the quality on the splits isn't there to much trash/tooth picks. for the boiler wood market yes, your current markets no. A Japa 405 pro is what you need, so far its the best processor out there for quality wood
I’d have to disagree, the amount of debris was completely due to the poor quality of the logs I was feeding it. Resplitting is quite easy on this machine and I’m confident I’ll be able to get my target sized wood out of it.
With 18" diam. and under wood, it will produce 1.5 to 3 cords an hour ! for the $ nothing comes close to this unit! the machine is very impressive & its USA built by american's !
Does the wedge go up and down?? Brute force needs to add grizzly bars as standard equipment.. They need to offer a box wedge as an option to get around that stupid japa patent
Ya Jake I don't know if that's the answer to your needs being you split small for in home heating. Think that you got it right with the eastonmade way have now. But if you was doing bulk sales to boilers just send through once into dump trailer then I can see it Bill
While I agree the Eastonmade splitter with the box wedge makes smaller wood consistently every time and quickly, this processor makes it very easy for one guy to make a bunch of wood quick without all the handling and hassle of cutting and moving rounds. Often times I will spend an entire afternoon blocking rounds for the Eastonmade to split with Chris the following day. This machine does require more resplitting but I think with time I will learn to feed it the right sized wood to minimize the time I need to resplit to get my target size and I avoid the extra handling of moving and cutting rounds
@@DudeRanchDIY : I don't see this machine working out for you. All that re-splitting makes too much debris. I like the system you have been using..works great. And you can split a basket PDQ...
@jamessanders4310 That’s the beauty of a demo! If it doesn’t work out I don’t have to keep it! I think once I get accustomed to the proper sized logs (and one’s that aren’t punky) the amount of resplitting and debris will greatly be reduced. Thanks for watching.
Cool machine. But seems like the operator has to a lot of split wood rearranging. That would be a pain in the arrest. And it’s taking away production time.
Looks like a WAY BETTER setup than the japa. Doesn’t look fun for resplits. Maybe better for boiler sized wood. Those are too big for cages and bundle sales.
This being my first time running it I wasn’t too concerned with split size especially due to the quality of the logs themselves. I plan on saving that tote for my personal use. Having fun it again yesterday I can say resplitting really isn’t too bad with it. I was getting some nice size splits
Yep I’m just fortunate enough to get to try it out for a while. So far I think this processor is the perfect machine for someone who is looking to make a bunch of wood in a hurry without spending an arm and a leg on a full size processor.
Wow!! Glad to see other manufacturers taking notice of your channel!!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Thanks David! Things are growing!
Oh boy, a new machine 😍😍
Can’t wait to make a bunch of wood!!

Exactly! I really liked this machine due to the ease of being able to resplit before it hits the conveyor! Not many on the market like that!
What a great opportunity! Look forward to seeing more.
Sure is! Thanks for watching!
Congrats!!!! Looks like a winner. It’s seems pretty easy to custom split ect…..
It’s very easy to run!

Love seeing this kind of sponsorship. Great job!
Thanks for watching Doug!
Nice Jake !!! You sure got the hook ups lol! Looking forward to seeing more of the new machine. Take Care !!!

Very nice. I liked that machine. He went over it a little bit with me and seemed to work pretty well
Thanks Brad
Jake, you’re right that’s perfect for your operation for sure,
Stay safe and see ya at PB👍TCT
I think it’ll be quite the asset to my operation while I have it!

Certainly are! Did you get yours setup??
@@DudeRanchDIY it is set up but I have been tied up and haven’t ran it yet. Might have to wait until the weekend which will kill me

Thanks! Plenty more to come!
Nice addition to the Woodyard. Filling totes and stacking cash.
Thanks Heath! Really looking forward to getting familiar with it. Had a great time hanging with you and Rachel last weekend!
That's a lot of work setting all that up, and you still got a video in. Very exciting, nice setup.
Kenny
Haha it was, I didn’t film all the boring parts clearing out the space!
That's awesome, Jake! Sometimes I wish I could demo machines. But, for now, I just need a resplitter. since I'm purchasing splits from a processor.
It’s a cool machine just like your Axis!!

Well this is a wee bit of a game changer on the production side of things !! This is “Big Show” now !!
Haha hope you enjoy the content!
Awesome! When you fly through your pile of logs bring it up the road to my place! I have plenty😅
Lol sounds like a plan!
Nice looking machine, Jake. Looking forward to you getting some more stick time and giving an honest review!
Me too!! Lots to learn but I’m getting the hang of it!
Looking good stud! Looking forward to working together!
Thanks for the opportunity Josh! I’m really enjoying the machine so far!

Thanks Chris!
Dang that’s a nice set up you guys are really gona eat threw some wood now . Hope to meet ya at the Paul Bunyan show

Is there no hydraulic hold-down bar for the log end being cut?
There certainly is!

Haha mine too! Thanks for watching!
Very cool. Awesome
Thanks buddy!
Nice video Jake. Glad you got it home okay. How did it pull?
It pulled surprisingly well, I really didn’t feel it back there at all. Nice that it has its own brakes!
Good choise investment in definitely

I think if I feed it the correct sized logs for the 6-way wedge it’ll be plenty productive.
Looks like the chain needs a sharping session date with a good file
Does the wedge go up and down??
Brute force needs to add grizzly bars as standard equipment..

Yes it does up and down hydraulically. The set of grizzly bars was sold at the show with the other 14-24!
@@DudeRanchDIY hope they send you a set of grizzly bars then.
I figured the wedge did but I don't remember you using the function that's why I ask.
I was leaving the wedge dropped down with that larger log to keep my bottom splits small so I only had to flip over the top 2/4 to resplit

Hurry back want to watch you split with it some more
I got another video coming while I’m away!
Need to build more shelters😂
Lol maybe if they let me keep it!
Now for some grizzly bars!!
Another project!
I see a box wedge in you future. Ok, what did you do to your neck? Is that where Sarah puts the shackle?

Yes the right sized wood is crucial. I split my wood on the smaller side so it requires more resplitting when feeding the machine larger logs
the only thing you be doing is loading the logs on the table and replacing the cages when full
What hp is your tractor
39hp

You already lost money it's way to slow
Very slow...axe wud be quicker..
To each their own
this guy hasnt a clue
Not real efficient from what I'm seeing
Having the right sized wood is crucial for these smaller machines
Dame this guy does not know how to run this.prosser way way too slow
