  • Today's video is about my postpartum body and how much weight I gained during pregnancy. I didn't gain beyond the recommended for my pre-pregnancy weight, but I ended up with a lot of stretch marks and some loose skin on my stomach. I'm also showing you my stretch mark routine and talking about my plans to go on a fitness journey (which I will document in a little series on my channel). Hope you enjoyed the video!

Aw you're so sweet 🥰😘 it's such a wild feeling to me, I was sure that I'd be one of the people who need more time to really bond with their baby, but it was instantaneous and such a magical, powerful feeling!

Bojura -- I am a young adult in my first year of college, and I've loved watching your videos for a long time now! I really enjoy getting a glimpse into your lifestyle as an adult doing your best with health, wellness, and now motherhood. It is really inspiring for me as I think about my own life and future, and I will definitely refer back to some of your videos when I reach the stage of my life out of college. Thank you so much for inspiring me :)

    She’s a cutie 🥰
Please don’t feel bad about your body - it’s STILL lovely! And on the stretch marks …. We’ll there’s not a whole lot you could’ve done about it. *check out Dr Dray’s vid on stretch marks - ua-cam.com/video/wvUo76IFlNY/v-deo.html
Also look into that using olive oil as a n emollient. It’s not the best emollient (still allows some transdermal water loss/doesn’t really hydrate) - pretty sure anyways (Years ago Dr Dray showed some studies on it. There are some other natural oils that are a little better - maybe safflower? Can’t remember- ugh. ) The itchiness would drive me crazy. the LRP Lipikar AP+ Balm or the Eczema version (w/ colloidal oatmeal) - is a really NICE emollient moisturizer. Just for what it’s worth 💖.
You are on an awesome journey and I am glad you are back!

i’m not gonna lie, this absolutely terrifies me so the fact that you can post this and educate the public is very admirable. as someone who doesn’t want kids, it’s fascinating to see the changes and remind myself of why i don’t want kids.

your comment really made me think about how I felt about all this before I had a baby. And I definitely felt terrified of giving birth and scared of all the changes, but actually living though it and looking back at it 6 months later, it only made me love and respect my body more because I realized how strong and resilient our bodies are. My daughter is the best thing that's ever happened to me and despite all the pain and struggles, I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Of course I'm not saying that to convince you that having children is for you, your choice is totally valid, but for someone who knows they want children, it is 100% worth it and your body knows how to do it all.
