If you and your friend attempt to commit a murder and your friend gets killed in the process, you can be charged with murder. It's that simple and that's what this attorney was saying.
No it’s not simple neither men pulled the trigger so why the fuk would they get charged with murder if they didn’t kill their friend like what
@marcusbarrios7078 for the same reason that if you and your friend rob a bank and you are the getaway driver and you wait in the car and your boy kills someone in the bank, you are equally guilty of murder. The idea is that you are one of the instigators, so if not for your actions, the death would not have occurred.

Felony murder/complicity to murder charges are no joke. It states that if a person dies during the commission of a felony (e.g. kidnapping, attempted murder, robbery, burglary, etc) then the charge is murder. Also, any ANYONE who participated in the felony can be charged even if they weren't the one who "pulled the trigger" so to speak. I always think about the movie Juice and what would happen after the ending. Q is gonna get charged 2 counts of Felony for the deaths of Quiles and Raheem. And that's the law. Crazy.
If only this was taught in high school. They make sex education mandatory to be taught in middle school. They should make criminal law education mandatory as well starting freshman year in high school.
@@aikirej As someone who use to work as a counselor in public school, kids ABSOLUTELY need to have Sex Ed. On more than one occasion I had to pull the boys I worked with aside and give them the real talk about pregnancies, STD, consent, and being safe and aware when it comes to sex. But I agree with you about learning about the law. Problem with kids is that, well, they're kids. They think they got it all figured out or have a false belief that the bad shit in life can't happen to them. Hell I know I did.

Same as if you and your friend do a home invasion, the homeowner kills your friend on the way in, and you guys never fire a shot. You're still on the hook for his death.
