To this day, Groot remains Vin Diesel's most emotionally nuanced role.
“We… Are… Groot” gets me every time. Nothing like family, especially when it’s the family you choose to be a part of.
"That . . . was so much fun." And
to clarify (and possibly break your heart), the Groot we spent the whole movie with is 100% deceased. "Baby Groot" was confirmed by the writers to be more like a clone or offspring to the original.

This is the first time I noticed Rocket's very slight giggle when he asked for the leg (
I personally felt this was one of the biggest surprises of the MCU. I knew nothing about this series (GotG) and was able to turn off my brain and just ride along. Only a few sideways comments that should not need to be explained to young children. [edit] The dog (Cosmo) plays a huge part in the newest GotG game.
It always cracks me up how Gamora focuses on the wrong part of Quill's Kevin Bacon story.
"Nothing goes over my head." (sotto voce) "I would catch it." 😝 I love the delivery of that line!

guardians is still one of the best MCU films, so fun and heartfelt and emotional, you just feel so connected to these characters and this found family ❤
Great reaction, Addie. Guardians of the Galaxy is a very fun movie. If you enjoyed Vol. 1, you'll love Vol. 2, when you get to Phase 3. My dad & I went to an advanced 3D screening of the movie, back in July 2014.
Fun fact.... Groot was voiced by Vin Diesel. Imagine, being a relatively high profile actor and you get hired to play a talking tree who says nothing but "I", "am", and "Groot" twenty billion times. 😂😂
I was surprised how much I liked this when it 1st came out . Excellent fun movie
The dog is named Cosmo, and, in the comics, he's supposed to be very powerful. At the very least a fairly popular character and he can talk. The talking, drinking Duck is named Howard the Duck, from a dimension where Everyone is a duck.
In the MCU, a powerful scene is usually interrupted by a gag

The duck at the end is Howard the Duck, cult classic Marvel from the 1980s. Also, the distinction of a George Lucas Movie adaptation that got widely panned (I loved it)
I really really wished I saw this in the theaters!! Loved the soundtrack just as much as the whole movie!! As much as all of your subscribers who have seen the movie already don't worry about editing out the songs, we knew what was playing!
