Hey there, I've got the 17' FZ10.Going to do similar. Were you able to keep the oem chain @ 114 links?I was looking at doing 45 teeth but??Can I ask about rpm and general pros/cons now that has been a while since you've done.I still want to keep the chain near the front of adjustment to keep wheel base short as can be for the crazy ride yet. Later dude.
So I really enjoy this setup and I think it's because I love a rowdy bike, I love a bike that leaves me scared as it's easier to keep respecting the bike. I like the change because every gear has awesome passing power no matter the rev range. Before this sprocket change, the gear I was in really mattered in the twisting. Now, it can still effect some tenths of time if I'm running laps but it's definitely not nearly as big of a deal. The gas mileage seems to be similar even with the revs hanging higher in each gear. Overall, I am extremely happy and I don't plan on ever going back to stock size.
I've got an '18 mt10, decat/Yoshimura 3/4 system, 2WDW flash. Making the typical 150+whp. Yes, these bikes are Hella fun!
Awesome bro! I have yet to get a flash. This thing would be crazy at that point 🤣
