You must add Alma Deutscher (sold out Carnegie hall at age 15--all her own compositions) and Rita Payes--jazz vocalist and trombonist. They do not play funk or even rock but man can they play. If you are starting with Mozart... then these women must be checked out. They are here, on UA-cam.

Thanks for the video. About talented kids: 80 to 90 percent of musical talent is not born, it is developed during early childhood. This is why musicians' kids are much more likely to become musically talented. Ellen's parents have exposed her to all kinds of music from early childhood, and she has been able to play with various musical instrument from age of 2 or so. Her father Hovak Alaverdyan (also in the video) is a professional guitarist and sound engineer.

Kids usually don't listen to parents, but they will copy all of your actions, if you want a talented musician kid, you will need to play a lot around them, after that see what instrument they fall for. The rest is practice.
Yes, exactly. Ellen was never asked or forced to play. Her dad started playing to her when she was still in a crib. Same thing happened with YOYOKA. YOYOKA was born into a family of musicians, she used to crawl over to the drums all the time. When she was 1.5 yrs old, they put her on their lap and she has been killing it ever since. At age 11 she was the youngest ever to be added to the DrummerWorld TOp 500 Drummers of ALL TIME. These two girls recorded "THE OCEAN" together after meeting just that day. They arrived together, tuned their instruments, did a sound check then nailed it first take, without any practice together.

Don't know who Alisa is, but the girl, yes girl, on the drums is Yoyoka from Japan and she is 10 years old. She kills it.

It is not Yoyoka. Yoyoka uses short hair and is way taller then this boy.
The gal on the drums is actually Alisaxie Xiaotong from China. She's 13. Yoyoka is currently 12? and she keeps her hair very short.😉
Ellen is a awesome Bass player. All are great her dad Novac on guitar 🎸 Noah on saxophone 🎷 and the girl on drums is incredible. 👍
