Same group has just done it again. They dropped a new collab cover of Heart’ “Barracuda” on Oct 5th. To also pay respect Yoyoka is produce an album on Oct 12 maybe 13 on her 15th birthday celebration.
2 guitarists, 1 bassist, 1 lead vocalist, 2 support vocalists & 1 drummer required to produce a great cover for a great song by the power trio of our time, *MUSE* . No doubt about these kids, they are talented.
I have known about most of these kids. I know that these kids are phenomenally capable. Usually with youngsters doing rock covers, the wheels come off with the vocals, especially, girls trying to singing men's vocals. This young lady easily knocked it out of the park.
Amazing is too right. The little dude and the lead singer are from the east coast, and might not be staying. But this isn't the first time Ellen and Yoyoka have teamed up to form a world beating rhythm section, and Charlotte, who sings as well as she shreds, lives not far from Ellen. These three are a band waiting to happen. One can only hope. Anyway, thanks for the reaction. Thumbs up!
Great reaction guys, these kids are the future. From what I've read, they did 4 takes for different video shots, 4 takes with no stops. Yoyoka will be 15 this coming Oct. and Ellen just turned 12 a week or so back. Props to Ellen for keeping that bass line on fire the whole time and Yoyoka for driving the beat. Ellen and Yoyoka stay in touch as they are both pretty close (Yoyoka in LA and Ellen in LV - about 270 miles).
Aloha Brits, happy you are helping to bring attention to these talented young musicians!! They are having so much fun...it's infectious! I just hope these kids keep in touch and eventually start writing some original material!!! #KRFK
Freaking incredible!!!! G-Man, you're not just G-Man. You're DA man. Great suggestion. Such amazing, impressive talent from young people. They have a great future ahead. Awesome reaction guys. Of course, I'be been following Ellen for a long time. Thanks for this one. Made me smile the whole time.- Hawk
I was amazed, even with the young great musicians around today. Their Boston covers are just as impressive. Every one of these kids are a star. And that 'older' guitarist kills it with her Boston licks.
Hats off to Ellen because she is totally in the groove and rocking. They are all excellent but that bass riff is played phenomenally well !!! seems to me that the whole number revolves around that driving syncopation.
G Man, you have outdone yourself yet again with your request!!!!! These kids give me joy for the future of hard rock/metal music!!!! Brilliant is a perfect word for it BP1.😊 Love it just simply love it!!!! A big future ahead for all of them!!!! They even have the stage presence down to a T. Excellent defo my cup of tea!!!! I didn't want it to end.
I'm delighted you enjoyed it. It is GLORIOUS! 😂 They're all Brilliant! It's beyond me to find anything to improve. I think this cover is *_Better_* than the original. KIDS ROCK FOR KIDS pulled them together, and they recorded four tracks. They live in New York, New Jersey, Las Vegas, San Diego and Los Angeles, so maybe can't afford to meet in one place themselves to do more. Yoyoka, has made a bunch of remote collaborations. The Internet is too slow to play together,. So each musician separately records their part, using a common drum part. Then those separate parts are edited together. So they could try doing that. However, Yoyoka loves to jam live. That's part of the reason she and her family moved to the USA. She tries to jam most weeks at "Whisky a Go Go" in LA. Their 'Jam Night' 'curators' announce the songs to play on each date in advance. Then musicians who are available turn up; no rehearsal or even sound check, and play together. She's so solid she can make a band work, and sound good. I put all their links into my original comment but YT swallowed it. 😞 Right now, there are no links. 😭 KIDS ROCK FOR KIDS is a not-for-profit, so links would be nice. Best Wishes. ☮
It _is _*_GLORIOUS!_* 😂 *_Better_* than faultless. KIDS ROCK FOR KIDS is a not-for-profit, so please give likes. The whole band were fabulous. Ellen & Yoyoka could replace _any_ bands rhythm section. Ellen's bass is relentless and irresistible. Vinya's vocals are amazing. Guitars are fantastic. Backing vocals superb. Ellen's Dad, Hovak, mixed to perfection. I enjoyed watching your faces. BP2 was mesmerised. _Reactors and I agree, it's _*_BETTER_*_ than the original._ Best Wishes, Chaps. ☮ If you have time, please listen and watch again carefully. Early on, Charlotte 'doubles' the bass pattern making it even thicker and meatier. Then her guitar solo is better than the original. After the solos, you can hear Yoyoka boosting the bass beat with light snare 'ghost notes'. Then near the end Yoyoka uses double kick to drive the beat even harder. 👏👏

Great suggestion G-Man. This sound is absolutely great. Although, I must admit that I clicked on this video expecting a "Kid Rock" (fedora hat and sunglasses - the guy who did the Cowboy song) reaction. It's all good. 😅

@@BritPopsReact it sure surprised me! I was wondering is she covered a new song I wasn’t familiar with. I cant get enough of the kids. In my opinion its better than the original. Ellen on bass bangs this song .... this fingerbreaking bass line through the whole song is horrible to play .....

I love this cover even better than the original. And the cool thing is that they got a shout-out and repost by Muse themselves!
Great reaction guys! Very enthusiastic! YOYOKA driving the bus, Ellen's fingers on fire, the band is tight!

Gman getting some props from across the pond! It is all so great but the young lady on lead vocals really turned it up at the end there.
