How is the smallrig charging? what battery source is it connected to? I can't tell from the video
If the camera is plugged in to wall power and not running, it can charge batteries that are RED approved. Unfortunately SmallRig batteries are not approved which means the charging only last about 30 seconds...which really means those batteries can't be charged.

How do the small rig v mount batteries work on the red Komodo x? Have you had any problems with it?
They don’t pass on voltage information to the camera.

So the smallrig v mount wont power the komodo x? Im not sure what battery info means im new here
Yes they will power the camera but the display on the monitor will not show you the power reading.

How do you power the monitor?
The monitor receives power directly from the camera no extra cable or power source needed.
