Thanks! Yes, the window was open for part of the time. It’s isn’t particularly noisy in the cabin. A bit of tyre roar, that’s about it.
hi mate great video ive got my golf coming in a few weeks and im wondering how it works with an e brake since theres not physical handbrake anymore and how the hold function works! thanks
USER ZERO In short, with the electric hand brake combined with hold function you never have to even think about using the hand brake in normal driving. That at least was my experience. When you park up the hand brake goes on automatically. Obviously the hand brake is released automatically when you drive away. The hold function kicks in during stop start driving. When you come to a stop at say a junction or anywhere with your foot on the brake pedal, you will notice a green “hand brake” light on the dash. That is the hold function. It’s completely automatic and will hold you in place there until you drive away where it just lets go automatically. This is great for hill starts. Overall the system is completely intuitive and out can still use the handbrake manually on the switch or disable the hold function should you want.

hi mate got another question haha if you dont mind. its about the hold button. while the hold function is on and your foot is on the brake. can you let go of the brake while the hold button is active and it will hold you rolling back while you get your bite ready to move off? or would you put the e brake on while on a hilly junction then it will deactive when you move off. thanks again
USER ZERO The hold function will keep the brakes on for a hill start even when you take your foot off the brake pedal.
How do u start it off wiv the clutch on a 1.0 petrol?

@@Biggles cheers mate I just have 1 more question. If I wanted to connect my phone to the car and have my maps from my phone appear on the screen. ...will I have to use a cable to do it or can I do it via Bluetooth?
Ahmed Zaman I didn’t try that feature out but the car is supposed to support Apple CarPlay, which would wirelessly display you phone’s display, maps etc., on the car infotainment display. So as long as you have an iPhone, that should work via Bluetooth. I don’t know about other smartphones though. Don’t forget to subscribe!
Hi mate I got my Golf SE a couple of months ago and I'm a little confused....I asked my dealer what does the range function mean on the car and he replied the amount of miles you can do with the remaining petrol in the car.... so I had 155 mile range in my car before work and once I got there it went to 145....there's no way my work is 10 miles away one way....am I looking at the range function wrong or did my dealer tell me the wrong information haha
Ahmed Zaman Hi, this doesn’t sound out of the ordinary actually. Many cars have this feature and end up behaving in a similar manner. The problem with the remaining range calculation is that it is an estimate and changes constantly depending on how the car drives and how the average fuel consumption changes over time. Think of it this way you set off with 155 miles range but you drive to work all the way in second gear. Your fuel consumption will go through the roof and the range will drop more than the distance you covered getting to work. On the other hand you could drive to work very carefully, your average MPG go up and thus the overall distance till empty will go up relative to the number of miles covered. The main point here is that there is never likely to be a direct correlation between the distance you cover on the road and the car trip computers estimate of how many miles left with the fuel you have. It will always be a rough estimate because driving conditions are subject to change. Hope this explanation helps. Do also consider subscribing. It really helps the channel out!

Paul Crowther It is pretty nippy in my opinion. In particular it gets off the line well.
I'm upgrading from a 1.5td focus , so I'm hoping it's a little quicker

@@robinvrolijk798 This particular model wasn’t so much to my liking. The ride was a bit bouncy. I suspect there would be other models in the range more to my liking such as the diesel.
Petrol not good 😩
Boring video, I just watched you drive, said nothing. What about noise levels, mpg etc etc
