I went for a test drive with this 1.0 tsi engine on the Golf 8...I currently own a Mk5 1.6 and the difference is huge, they are worlds apart...that low down torque that my 1.6 could only dream of

I just bought a Golf Mk7 Variant from November 2019 with that exact motor. It's still at the car dealer's, but as soon as it's registered and our Golf Mk5 is sold, we'll pick it up right there!
And for those who still doubt that it's the 1.0 TSI 3 cylinder engine: IT DEFINITELY IS!
Could anyone please tell me how high the petrol consumption is at 200 kmph and higher? Or on longer Autobahn drives in general? Thx in advance!

Echt gute Auto ich fahre selber seit 7 Monat IQ Drive 1.0 bj2019 ich bin sehr zufrieden motor ist wirklich sehr leise und sehr gutes Fahrwerk
Der geht deutlich besser ab als meiner bmw e46 150ps! Geiles Auto! :D
Liegt evtl. am DSG.
Fahre suchen einen 1.0 variant. Geht ganz ok die Höhle auch wenn ich mir manchmal etwas mehr wünsche. Über 200 ich aber noch nicht gekommen.
Also mein 7er Golf Variante selber Motor kommt auf locker 220 trotz mehr Gewicht😅 und 2 Personen im Auto 😂
Not bat for a 1.0 TSI engine. But I see that the car is brand new with 235km. Shouldn't be there a break-in period? As far as I know, the first 1500 km should be with no kick-downs and not faster than 130-140 km/h. Sorry if I'm wrong ... but that's how I know it.
Nowadays the engines are run in at the factory.

@@svensplayground you should read manual. 1500 km you have to run 3/4 rpm
I can keep up a 2.0L n.a. with the 95 HP version. The engines are powerful
The 2.0 n a will always be better in the long run

@@Jk-oz5qn and they have their issues too. In the US they sell the 1.4 TSI, with a timing belt and its a great engine. No more chain issues

Just bought this car only 110horse power. Is that a big diffrence ?
No it isnt, if you get the car on dynamo it will say 115 or more in some cases

Dazu kann ich leider nichts sagen, es ist zu lange her, wo ich ihn gefahren bin. Privat fahre ich einen Diesel.
1.0 TSI its not 155 PS! Its 115 PS=113 bhp= 85 kW

Nice, my top speed is around 200 km/hr.
I had to keep my eyes glued to the road to get up to 125 mph(200 km/hr) Even on a rural highway here in America it feels very fast. I did this in a Toyota Avalon which has like 300 hp. Don't worry for I rarely ever drive that fast. I typically drive between 120-150 km/hr(74-93 mph) on most rural interstates in America.

En descente avec 7 rapports (dsg 7) pas étonnant.... Pas besoin de puissance pour ça! En bmp6 sur plat ça passe a peine 200 par manque de puissance
Schrecklich wie früh du links rüber ziehst und wie ewig du links bleibst. Das ist für mich eine Einladung zum rechts überholen.

Pavlo_Ch Could be, have the 1.0TSI 110hp, 3 cylinders did 232kmh on the Autobahn, 2 persons in car and downhill. Often on flat parts the car doesnt really want to go much faster than 205-210 (variant, 6 gear manual)
@@maxmilianpeulen2780 , I have the 1.4TSI 122hp CXSA on Golf7(DSG7) and know what this engin can do))) Max speed is 215 by speedometer and 205 by GPS.
On the video I see Golf on DSG not 6 gear manual)))
