So I have a Traxxas slash 4x4 vxl 3s, only had it a week and blew the factory tires apart.
If the track is sugared and its a clay mixed in the sun all day and grooved you got to use at least a Soft long ware or X3 or X2 compounds or they wont last . Like in my case M3 will get chewed up in 80 degree weather on a hotter track .

@@mjuratich1 most motors should have it on the motor body how many turns they are. For instance the titan12 has it really huge on there. Are far as servos go, they are rated in a fashion similar to car speed (0-60), but instead of miles per hour in degrees. The lower the number the faster the servo. For 1/8 applications you want no less than 300oz of torque. For your 1/10 you could still use that but it's way overkill
Does your esc and receiver have to match and what about syncing controllers. Do all brands sync together? What brand names are the best in electronics
@@mjuratich1 esc and receiver do not need to match. Motor and esc dont either, but they need to be compatible. Some people swear by tekin electronics, some by hobbywing. Some by castle. It's all a preference and application thing. Depends on what you want to do with your stuff.

Toasterfree I’m running a Losi Tenacity with the PROformace upgrades, Tekin RX8g3, pro4 4300, and I would love to see and hear how to rebuild and oil the center diff mainly, but also the front & rear diffs.
@@djpudgey both Mark and I run Tekno, so I cant really help you with how to do that other than suggest you download the manual for your car on how to get to them. If you are wondering what the various changes are download the tekno tuning guide, and the jq guide. Both are great resources

@@djpudgey when I do my diffs, I take out everything but the bottom outdrive (the one opposite from the gear you take off) and turn it over to drain out as much used oil as I can. When I rebuild it, I put the cross pins and gears in. Fill the diff with fluid until it barely covers the cross pins, then I put the top sun gear in. Wipe off any excess oil and reseal.
The only time I'll disagree with you. Yellow wheels are waaaaay faster

Mark make sure when you do the mounting video to stress the Buckshot is can be mounted 2 different ways for track conditions. Don’t want anyone to mount them with the different thread pattern going different ways. 😊
