Dude must be single. Putting RC cars on a comforter is a death sentence in my house. I use our flat marble kitchen island as my flatest spot for camber adjustments but I don't dare do it when the wife is home.
Hey Roach, Great Vid! I've just added a 1/10 touring car to my racing in UK, I've bought a 2nd hand Schumacher Mi6, it's older but still bloody quick ;) and it's my first actual experience of slick tyres (still find it amazing you guys have clay tracks you can run them on over there :) ) also it's my first time using additive too, I've only done two sessions so far, but I'm already hearing advice about 'saucing' the rears only to start with before the carpet grips up, and also debate about using brake cleaner between sessions- it definitely makes tyres feel stickier afterward (guess that's similar to simple green? ) -& whether to add more additive between heats... Really enjoying the TC racing though :) Sorry for the ramble mate, just thought I'd bung in a couple of brainfarts for the al gore ridm's sake ;) All the best from the UK as usual Dude!
Nice video. Ca you tell me how long does tires last for each surface. In my area we have indoor and outdoor clay, turf, and carpet. I want to get back into racing but I would like to know how long tires will last because of their high cost. I will be running 1/8 and 1/10 on the clay tracks and only 1/10 on the turf and carpet tracks.
You can. I know people used to do that on the SC10 4X4 at NorCal Hobbies to calm down the front. Though sometimes it's better to run the same all the way around for even wearing
You skipped over the dreaded 'someone didnt maintain it' outdoor desert tracks, deep dust and gravel mixed with flat washed out clear abrasive pack. schumacher stagger ribs do awesome as sct rears, and on 1/8 the oversized rallyblock knock off tires are the only things that are consistent. they arent grippy, but they are consistent on the inconsistent surfaces.
"Pick the logo you like the most"
I love that line 😂
Roach RC has the best background music on youtube.
Just subbed to you a couple days ago after binging a ton of your videos, great stuff keep it coming 🙌🏼
Great breakdown of information. Another well researched great video as always from Roach RC....Great job
Great vid, and onboard footage is rad! 😎
Good update
Great job. Im surprised SG hasn't tried to sponsor anybody in the rc community. Everyone uses it!

Clay compound is probably money at that masters of dirt track

Cars so clean you can park them on your wife's ''Duvet''.........awesome.
can I use different softness on the front and rear tires
Great video. Hope to see you at a race in the future. Are you going to the Shootout April 22nd?
Thanks man! Also yes I will be at the Shootout this April
Medium compound is definitely more popular outside
hi, I'm wondering about tires, can I use different softness on the front and rear tires, as I have a pair of soft and supersoft?
You can. I know people used to do that on the SC10 4X4 at NorCal Hobbies to calm down the front. Though sometimes it's better to run the same all the way around for even wearing
I’d say soft compounds are the most popular but clay compounds are getting more common
what worked good for you in short course at MOD? taking a trip down there soon and will probably hit up beach and badlands.
The Dustin Hamilton setup worked well with really worn clay compound primes
@@RoachRC where’d you find yours?

Is there any information available now, even though this videos from 3 months ago? Tires are my biggest issue
What would you like to know?

You should let your tire sauce soak in at least 5 minutes, 10-15 minutes is best
