Carol was the best lesbian movie I have ever watched. The chemistry between the two women is palpable and genuine. Both are stunning women too. I completely shipped them from day one. They were definitely made for each other.
I fucking love this film. I've seen it every night for the past 4 nights, and I can't get over it. I keep thinking about it all day. The casting was perfect.
I dont know but there's something bout her that's very special.. just the way she talks, it just make sense.. and the moment she stares at you, there's a story to tell.. i love R.M.!!!
It's a relief to hear Rooney speak normally and at some length! In the movie she barely spoke, barely had any lines. Also...she has the cutest, most perfect little ears!
Where? How? I want to see it so bad. There is only so many times I can watch trailers and clips before that no longer holds me over and I loose my patients waiting for this film. I can't wait to see it.
+Elaine Lotcpeich No, when they give a N.A. release date it should be for ALL or MOST of the places in at least the U.S. Why the hell do they think we give a crap about release dates in 4 theaters in 2 states? Keep that date only in the two states it will be showing on those date; the rest of the world don't care.
+Pame Navarro QoS It will be shown everywhere. But I think the date is being pushed back because they are trying to win some award. The dumbass should have giving nov 20th release date for limited theatres. If you are only releasing in two states for the moment than they shouldn't even bother mention that useless information.
Rooney Mara seems very down to earth and really bright. She is going to be a really really big star you watch! I just love her! Her sister seems nice too!
Lightner445555555555 she played a villain in an animated film called Kubo. although not live action, she did a great job in that and also made me long for her to have a real villain role.
gotta say I felt the movie was a bit shorter than it should've been in terms of showing Therese's thoughts about Carol and everything, and their time together. I mean, can't get enough of that acting and story)
She's one of "those" girls who slightly clutch their hands when confronted with social exposure and sometimes builds blanket forts when alone at the house. I am very informed on these subjects, ,,.
I’ve been a Lesbian since age 11 and now at age 67 it hasn’t got better or easier but now I don’t give a flip if someone “knows”. Like it or me it doesn’t mean I get my feelings hurt and I’d venture I could give back a few nasty licks if it came down to it getting physical. I look at women and think the same all those years ago, the luxury version of a human and they smell wunderbar.
+phira360 she didnt have scene to shoot that day, or the interviews for two of them were not the same day, or her clothes are not as comfortable as Rooneys so she changed while they were interviewing Rooney ( ˃᷄˶˶̫˶˂᷅ ) or blah blah blahฅ( ͒ᵕ̳◡ᵕ̳ ͒)。
She is so right. So annoying when lesbians in films/tv shows get killed off or somehow end up with someone of the opposite sex. Like that film that I had high hopes for "The Kids are alright" but instead left us with a highly disappointing unrealistic twist. I had high hopes for it because it was a film like Carol with well know actors. Instead it only catered to the straight audiences instead of educating them about the married lgbt family. Not only did it disappoint but "The kids are alright" made a joke of lesbian relationships. Making a gay woman (who clearly is bi) fall for the opposite sex. It only confuses the ignorant even more. Hopefully Carol will not dispoint and be the film we have finally be waiting for like Rooney said (where we don't die or fall for opposite sex)
+SourStrawberrys I thought I felt the same way too. Looking back this was 180 Degree from Tom Ripley. Patricia Highsmith was very brave to Write a Love Story like that.
It was Claire Morgan. Ann Bannon another Lesbian Pulp Fiction Writer said she loved The Price Of Salt. She and Patricia Highsmith admitted they got letters from women thanking them for making them feel less guilty for their feelings.
+ana martinez Patricia Highsmith's Ex-Girlfriend Mariane Meaker wrote under the name of Vin Packer with the Title Spring Fire, and she also wrote under M.E. Kerr who wrote "Deliver Us From Evie" which as next to "Annie On My Mind" by Nancy Garden one of the First Books about a Teen Lesbian Romance.
Omg she looks so cute in this outfit!
and so innocent
You're lovely and pretty.❤❤❤
she's so understanding and openminded. I like her
Rooney looking SO adorable in costume. And obviously, out of it as well.

Where? How? I want to see it so bad. There is only so many times I can watch trailers and clips before that no longer holds me over and I loose my patients waiting for this film. I can't wait to see it.
I live in new york so thankfully they showed here only in like 2 theaters for indie films tho, it should be shown everywhere
Lucky you. Still waiting for it to come to N.J.

This girl gives me goosebumps.
She should play villainous roles. She has that intensely serious look to her.
Lightner445555555555 she played a villain in an animated film called Kubo. although not live action, she did a great job in that and also made me long for her to have a real villain role.
You should watch The girl with the dragon tattoo, she played a role of a really badass girl it was an amazing movie 🖤
In side effects she was a baddie
Therese is such a rare name, i'm happy.
-From another Therese
I love her voice omg
She's fucking cute with this cute little hat
I'M IN LOVE WITH ROONEY

Exactly. So true!
She's so awesomely wholesome!
She's one of "those" girls who slightly clutch their hands when confronted with social exposure and sometimes builds blanket forts when alone at the house.
I am very informed on these subjects, ,,.
Adorable and so intelligent 🥰
God, the structure of her face is so beautiful
I love her teeth! It breaks with the Hollywood standard of beauty: straigh white teeth.
She fixed them thou
She kinda got some features of Audrey Hepburn. It's so calming to see her face.
In the future, she will portray Audrey Hepburn in the Luca Guadagnino's biopic movie about her 😃😁☺️
lol she's soooo cute in that hat and literally just all the time.
She seems very intelligent and insightful. Why is there so much dislike towards her?
Hope there will be another movie for Rooney Mara opposite Cate Blanchett... maybe a sequel 😉
Such a soothing manner of speaking
She resembles Audrey Hepburn so much
she's so freakinnnn cuteeee with that hat gosh i thought she was a 5 years old kid
Am I the only one who thinks Rooney looks a bit like Audrey Hepburn
bella
Omg, I never noticed she has a little lisp going on.
Give this woman some LEGO bricks
Why ?

why i cant watch the movie online.
why is she wearing Therese's clothes 😂
they are probably doing the interview during the breaks of scenes
+1878さらば、白い鹿七 but isn't cate wearing her own clothes?
+phira360 she didnt have scene to shoot that day, or the interviews for two of them were not the same day, or her clothes are not as comfortable as Rooneys so she changed while they were interviewing Rooney ( ˃᷄˶˶̫˶˂᷅ ) or blah blah blahฅ( ͒ᵕ̳◡ᵕ̳ ͒)。

You will love it :)
+SourStrawberrys I thought I felt the same way too. Looking back this was 180 Degree from Tom Ripley. Patricia Highsmith was very brave to Write a Love Story like that.
But she published under another name, Claire Duncan o r something similar, her publisher told her it s the only way.
It was Claire Morgan. Ann Bannon another Lesbian Pulp Fiction Writer said she loved The Price Of Salt. She and Patricia Highsmith admitted they got letters from women thanking them for making them feel less guilty for their feelings.

She's very beautiful
