Let's talk about the importance of protein treatments and why we should never eliminate them from our routine. What's your go to? Let me know below! xox MD
I use Aphogee 2 minute as needed. I use Aphogee 2 step, or Dudley DRC 28 as needed. My hair isn’t relaxed or color treated but I’m still high porosity. I use Olaplex 0,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 but it’s not a protein. My hair is WL, 3C, and low density.
Literally just did one. I’m on a monthly schedule too just about. I’m so in tune with my hair that I can just tell when I need one. The apogee 2 step kit is my fave! ❤
Hey, this could be due to the porosity of your hair. Since everyone as different hair types meaning different porosity so, different nutritional value that the hair needs. I am pretty sure u might have low porosity but I might be wrong hope this helps 🫶
I use HASK Keratin conditioning treatment. It has a bunch of good proteins and still very moisturizing for someone with fine hair (prone to protein overload)
Hey Melissa. I've been watching you for awhile. My channel isn't about hair but I've incorporated life things on my channel. Anyway bottom line is that I just did an aphogee protein treatment after years of not doing one. To me too #Aphogee is the TRUTH 🎉
Look at us getting back on track together lol!! Thanks so much for your support! I just subscribed to your ch & I looking forward to checking out your content!!! xox
Glad you found it helpful! Yes definitely tryout different protein treatments! There are other quality ones out there I just like Aphogee the best. Let me know how it goes!!
Only if you find it necessary. You honestly don’t have to. Your everyday shampoo will work just fine. My fav clarifying is by Eden bodyworks. I’ll link it in the description.
I do DIY protein treatments every two months. Since I've started with DIY protein and DIY hair mask treatments in 2018, my hair is thriving.
So happy tp hear your hair is thriving! Would love to tryout some of your recipes if you don't mind sharing! I love me a good DIY! xo

Aww man I’m sorry to hear this.
I don’t think it was the moisturizer that’s breaking off the hair..
@@TNT1982-h8h it was. Dont use other products

Hi Lissa, how can a person make a natural protein treatment
There are a lot of great combos!! You can try avocado, organic mayo, greek yogurt, egg yolk, honey. I hope that helps! Let me know!

Go Melissa
Would it be a really dumb idea to put this on and then go into an infra red sauna?
I mean you can but it won't have any effect on the product because it works with hydrolyzed protein bonding with your keratin.
Why u don’t wash it after
I don't use protein treatment but this tip is very helpful. Can I use another protein treatment cs the one used isn't available in nigeria

You must do the first step TWICE before step 2. It literally says it on the bottle.
Doesn't say that on my bottle
should i clarify? do you have a clarifying shampoo recommendation or should i use ACV?
