Hazshep24 it's because there was already one British grand Prix (probably Silverstone but I'm not sure) and there was a rule until recently I think where there could only be one race in the same country. This is why imola was the San Marino grand Prix despite being in Italy so they could have both imola and Monza. I think they have got rid of the rule as they are trying to bring loads of new American tracks but they may have found a work around like Calling it the north American grand Prix or the Florida grand Prix

Having said that, the term "British" is often colloquially used to describe all people from the UK. It just depends on whether you're being specific or general in your usage of the term "British".
Secular Stagflation as someone who identifies as Scottish I disagree with the term “British” as if you take someone from Scotland and someone from England they will be quite a sizeable cultural difference, but from experience when someone says “British” they usually mean someone from the United Kingdom not the island of Great Britain (I.e. team GB in the olympics consists of People from the whole of the UK, not just Britain)

well... i know this vid is kinda old. but 1950s silverstone race was NOT the first Grand Prix. There were Grand Prix`s even before WW2. 1950 Silverstone GP was the first Grand Prix that was part of the newly formed Drivers Championship. even the Reglement used for the first WDC in 1950 was used since 1947.

Ferrari question is wrong. Eddie Irvine was the last British driver for Ferrari. Issue was clarified after the Irish flag was raised in Argentina wrongly. Drivers passport denotes country which they represent (British) is his case. Good question though
