Aww no way! I feel like this vid was meant for me xD
I'm getting my rescue puppy tomorrow and I've been imagining her sitting with me every morning whilst doing my Qi Gong!
    P.S. I'm so excited!!!!!!

      LMAO oh my Im sorry.
I had such dreams as well. I gave up such dreams.
I appreciate the few moments of practice (yoga and seated meditation in my case) that I get in between the face licks during downward facing dog.
I only started doing it with my pup 2 months ago; she is already calming down and slowly getting into the vibe.

@@bartfart3847 I know it'll take time lol! She's a Romanian rescue so gonna need lots of patience with training anyway. So she'll be in the next room with a kong during my morning practice for a while ;)

when i first started doing yoga at home, my dog was NOT HAPPY. i think she was a little betrayed that i wouldn't let her sit on the mat lol and when i did downwards dog, she would start barking like crazy!!
will definitely try working this flow into my practice :)

Do you have any tips for dealing with inconsistent training practices among family members/housemates? Like for example, my parents will try to give my dog a command by using an unfamiliar word, which I'm sure is confusing for my pup!
My dog also clearly favors certain people and will bark wildly at others. I'm working on changing her associations with those specific people when somebody comes home and she can hear the sound of the dog opening, and that's definitely improving! HOWEVER, I can't really control the actions of other people? And I think part of the reason why my dog is anxious around certain people is because those people don't really understand how their behavior comes off to a dog, i.e. intense eye contact and a big toothy smile might have friendly intentions, but they can come off as aggressive and intimidating to dogs :(
    PLEASE HELP! :o

Teach your dog to understand the language that your parents are using. If its' an unfamiliar command, speak the "other command." For example, if you do speak and the other person does bark, say Speak at the same time. And since it's often people who really love dogs who will look at them and smile, while those that don't love them as much would simply ignore them, you might need to condition your dog to love them.

I just cut my exercise practice down into shorter sets, puppy goes in the crate for half an hour. much safer as I use weights.

    Hi!
Me and my wife are willing to buy a dog in the next couple of months, and we found your youtube videos very inspiring!
    We have some questions though:
    1) How often should we have training session we our dog?
    2) How long should be a training session?
    3) When should i start to train a new comand and or new behaviour?
For example first the dog name, than sit/stand/down, than take it/leave it, drop it? What about other behaviour correction?
    4) Should be always the same person to train the dog?
    Thank you so much

I do multiple online workouts regularly, while my toy poodle is interested initially, I just ignore him and continue doing my practice or workout routine and by five minutes in he settles somewhere else. I’m sure it depends on the dog, and yes - as someone else said - their training. Even though mine isn’t perfectly trained...

What? I don't get it. The most appropriate and easy way is to teach your dog to stay on its place.

Yes. But UNTIL a dog gets that-which a lot of pet dog owners struggle to do-owners should still have some ways to exercise. THAT'S who this video is for.
