I feel like using a website's rating as a measure for "best" doesn't really work, as most people don't bother rating a set online. Instead, doing a list purely based on profit, or some type of sales with the price factored in, to better display people's opinions.

I agree the Lions knight castle is Legos Best set ever! So much play value for young and old, male or female, battle ready or civil drama. Beautiful to display and perfect to play. Its the first set to get me back into Lego after 25 years of not paying attention no other set could have done that.
@@Takeawayjustin Like what do you mean? It is not a perfect set.... For instance the thatched roof looks amazing, but likely would not be seen on a keep like this, and the inclusion of a tiny escape craft would make the dock way more useful. but other than that as a LEGO castle.... its better than I ever thought they would make.
I had the Mega Core Magnetizer. It was probably the last big set my folks got me before I lost interest in Legos as a kid. It was pretty bad ass, and I wish I still had that thing.
Genrally I agree with the list, but here are some exceptions: number 6 I would place as 10 or actually swap with queen of all lego trains Metroliner (4558) number 2 should be skipped entirely for two reasons: you already placed his new version as number 5 (which I agree) and second I have a feeling that your numbers 3 and 2 are nostalgic-oriented - maybe you played with them as a kid if number 3 I say OK it could be that cool, then as number 2 I would place Lego Assembly Square 10255 for couple of reasons: its the perfect as a staple of Lego System, because its from Town/City, so all can relate, features mix with old and new techniques, minifigs are classic, the size of it is perfect as a standalone toy, like a full doll house My list then: 1 & 2 Lion Knights Castle & Assembly Square 3. Rivendell 4. Launch and Load Seaport (or Century Skyway 6597) 5. Galaxy Explorer 6. Metroliner 7. Horizon Tallneck (or maybe this new Concorde) 8. Skull's Eye Schooner (or Black Seas Baracuda) 9. Mega Core Magnetizer 10. Giant Truck (or some Technic like Supercar or Space Shuttle)
You don't play video games? But what about the lego video games? Especially the iconic lego star wars ones, I mean that's what got a lot of people into lego I'm sure

@@mitchratka3661 you make a fair point.
@@mitchratka3661you have to account for the middle sets dominating. Moms buying legos for their kids will be popular doesn’t mean they are the best

Great as always. Would loved to have seen the list be your personal top ten sets actually.
