Very very pleasant to listen to. Indeed true virtuosity. I love how she always gives her own "flair" to everything she sings. It's always very seductive. A great artist. 👏
She never disappointed me in her entire career - I was genuinely sad when she had to leave the opera stage. She would have given so much more pleasure if her vocal chords had allowed. (PS How is it that upper-class Edwardian ladies who are evidently on their way to Ascot have never before heard of the phenomenon known as sleepwalking? 😂)
Neither the Edwardian Ladies in this scene nor any upper class Ladies at least in the last century on their way to Ascot haven’t ever be aware of the phenomenon of sleep walking for the obvious reason that they themselves suffer from this ailment their entire life What’s more inspiring by this very scenery in this production is the stunning resemblance to Watteau‘s various masterpieces titled ‚Pèlerinage à l’île de Cythère‘ (The Embarkation for Cythera)
Grazie Theo❤Ho ancora negli occhi e nelle orecchie la Sonnambula della Scala di Visconti e della Callas. Su quest’opera mi è difficile non fare paragoni
I saw her in 2003 2x at the Met and not sure if micing was being used but it was surprisingly bigger than I'd imagined. The orchestration at that point was extremely small though but it was quite surprising. (zerbinetta)
I really adore her in her prime. There are days I want to see a wonderful singing actress, I gravitate to her videos.

We saw her sing this at the Met and Santa Fe Opera. She was amazing.
Virtuosic Audacity indeed!!!!! :D
Ωραία εκτέλεση και ωραίο βίντεο.
Ευχαριστώ, φίλε μου.
De mémoire, je pense que cette représentation se déroulait à Lausanne à la fin des années 1990 mais cela mérite vérification.
Spectacular!

I had the pleasure of hearing her numerous times at Lyon's opera house and her voice was not small at all.
