Hey, you know all DoT builds cap out at 35m dps right? Title is misleading. Why are you not using a +1 all dex gem tattoo? The total damage per ignite is very different than ignite dps. You're ignite dps from just EA is 13.4m which is not even half of the maximum dps you can have as DoT build.
They cap out at ~35.8m, but the ubers have an 70% less damage modifier so I read overcapped DoT as counting for those. And while using guardian/pinnacle is typical for a PoB, people don't click stuff like delirium%, "enemy is hexproof" or "elemental resists" or all the other crap that can roll on maps, altars, remnants when probably SOMETHING is applying. A lot of the time SOMETHING is probably making a "capped" DoT damage build not actually cap anymore. So even if a DoT build caps, it can still benefit from extra DPS and if DoT builds just say they cap it doesn't properly distinguish between one that just barely caps and one that still deals 25 million to ubers. But you're right that everyone reads the "total damage per ignite" or "combined total damage" as if they mean something. They're almost worthless numbers in PoB for ignite. This is a ~14-15 million DPS build (unless I missed something on config).
Built my first EA totem build ever in this league , very pleased. As already others mentioned the Combined dps might be misleading (my pob states its 140M) My current ignite is at 30M and DoT capped at 35M with eHP around 100k. It's Tanky and it melts pretty much everything :)
hmm, I have a EA build that reach 35m ignite cap and 95m combined total damage for lvl84 guardian/pinnacle boss (total cost for this league was around 80 - 90 divs). Also if the boss hp is less than 50%, the damage will be always cap without special conditions like frenzy charge and conergence. It's weird why you need 140m. Feel like you might waste some of your points/resources somewhere. Unless your configs is for Uber then nvm.
And man, I wanted to ask if you can make a version without mage blood from starter to end game in 3.23, sorry for the English, I'm using the translator, I hope you understand me
This is true, but EA still does deal somewhat significant hit damage even when aiming to scale the ignite (unless you're using deadly ailments or similar) so you do have to add that back on at the end.
@@redfish337 It does some hit damage but he is looking at the "total ignite DPS" in PoB. This is not what he thinks it is. This is not DPS, this is how much damage the ignite does over it's entire duration. It is not the same as DPS.

I'm just say that on EA the explosion portion is relatively small but not irrelevantly so, unless you choose to make it so, and should be added back on top of ignite DPS to get actual DPS. It's undercutting the build a bit to count it as only ignite damage.
I don't want to gang on him but he missed clicking the guardian/pinnacle boss button (to compare to other builds) also the DoT mastery is a bait for clearing maps(a bait from the game), inflates the number but slow clear speed. tldr: its a good but common EA build with QoL added to it
@@NightWolf007A It's a complicated game. I've done EA about 6 times now (mostly witch), trying different sorts of setups. I still get a bit confused about how things work for it. Being confused with how things work is natural for such a complicated game. Even now, 6 tries later, if I made a video I'd probably make some mistakes- and people would surely have a fit that I basically ignore suppression for general use (I slot for ubers only). Still, 800+ people have seen this video. And this video has lots of major problems with it. I won't go down the list. But for the sake of anyone else... besides the main thing people have latched on... before worthy foe, you take the conqueror node. This gives 100% chance to taunt on hit. You don't have to go out of your way to taunt with infernal cry. You get the taunt all the time basically automatically. Don't put a non-instant warcry on left click just for the covered in ash- that's extremely annoying. But don't put it with cast when damage taken either because it's not a spell and so it's not not casting when damage is taken! See, I'm just editing as I find more problems. That's the sort of video. When the misinfo is that rampant it's hard to not be hard on it. =/
Reservation tattoo is not cheap. With that many it's over 12d yet you miss polaric devastation, unnatural instinct, a good lethal pride and onslaught. Those combined barely cost more than the tattoos and will give much more dps than the extra skitterbots. Even for minmax there are cheaper ways to get these auras without those tattoos. And you can tattoo something else. Obviously as others pointed out you seem to misunderstand how EA dmg scales. Most importantly you don't even have a way to proc elemental equilibium. I'd also add if someone want to sink that much currency into EA they'd want the least amount of increased skill duration.
My balista totem build who cost my 50d have same dps... Im rocking 6 auras and deleting most of stuff.. unnatural instinct mantadory you get soo many skill point back.. skill tree pretty horrible .. did you even have 20fuses?atk rate look pretty low .
curious why no polaric devastation ring in the left slow, with its 5secs covered in ash +25% elemental damage - or is the issue is that increases duration?
Increased ailment duration is only a positive for this build. Because only highest ignite burns at a time it's not a super important mod (you'll usually reapply an ignite before the ignite falls off), but it doesn't hurt. It helps slightly, as you don't always get the reapply in time, or it lets you be more sure more stuff is dead as you fly past them while mapping and let them mostly burn off screen behind you, and even in single target longer duration means any high roll ignites will hang on longer. However, the benefit should not be overstated. The title of the video is 60mil DPS... when that's just the TOTAL ignite damage (or similar), not actual DPS. Ignite duration will massively increase the damage of an ignite.... eventually. But you'd generally apply another ignite while the other one is still going, and only highest ignite burns so any extra seconds on any non-highest burn does zero damage. It's skill effect duration that affects the fuse timer and can make things clunkier for clear.

How do you get infernal cry to trigger when you flamedash?
its set to my left click so when I left click for movement it procs
