Thank you so much 💚 the women in my family all get these fatty lumps around their eyes at middle age, and this was starting to happen to me. I couldn't find any useful information about this until this talk. Since I have begun fasting and eating carnivore-ish the lumps around my eyes have almost completely disappeared! Thank you for helping me understand the mechanisms!💚

Most of the basic hypothetical under pinnings are obviously wrong, but it makes too much money for the corporations to admit they aren't really working.

Wow--Exactly what I was looking for. The adds for phytosterols give the impression that they absorb cholesterol, which is then eliminated. The presentation makes it clear that some of the phytosterols are absorbed instead of/in addition to cholesterol and used by the body with negative results--ironically a greater risk of stroke which is one of results to avoid! And even greater irony, statins plus phytosterols is even worse!! Excellent and clear presentation--thank you.

      Hello Doctor Shaji
I am very curious to hear more about your experience ( story)
How you managed your life ?… probably you have a stent or bypass or something else.
      Because 18 years says many?!
      This is my story.
I am 53 old man ,190 cm/ 80 kg, I got a stent 5 months ago on my artery coronary left , then my doctor sent me to statins and aspirin, but unfortunately
from statins I obtained arterial fibrillation, because my heartbeat was strong and I woke up with wet wet pajamas, at night I slept only 2-3-4 hours maximum. Only after 2 months my health started to improve, the arterial fibrillation disappeared once I started the keto diet. All this nightmare was about 2 months after the stent implantation, although I took statins and clopidogrel and aspirin only about 10 days in total, but in the meantime I was reading everything that was interesting to my heart, on internet. Most people do not want to seek the truth about their health on their own, they leave themselves in the hands of allopathic medicine, appearing in front of doctors with their bodies ready for execution.
My artery coronary left was clogged 100 % , said my doctor.
But I am asking myself: why I didn’t die , if my artery coronary was clogged 100 percent?
Before implantation of stent, I was vegetarian for 4 years, after stent I continued like vegetarian just 2 months, then I found Doctor Eric Berg , so … 2 months later after stent I started Keto Diet.
Now I am following the keto diet with intermittent fasting 16-8 hours daily.
      Vitamin D3 / 20 drops per day
      Vitamin k2/ 12drops per day
Acerola powder/ 3 teaspoon per day
Instead of aspirin I take a teaspoon cumin in a glass warm water before I go to bed.
      And exercising.
I try to do everything, but I don’t want to go back to the statins and aspirin.
PS : I will be happy to communicate with people who have the same trouble like me.
      Thank you for understanding
Dr. Eric Berg was sent by God to us as a helper for helpless people.

Getting major cognitive dissonance here as I've known for a long time that coconut oil don't go through the gut and instead used immediately by the liver. Mainly because coconut oil is long chain like animal fats not like seed oils which is short chain and olive oil which medium chain. It's also antifungal, antibacterial and antiviral.

The only bad fats found in any diet are those coming from chemically/thermally-refined oils of *any* type, or any fat (or protein) in general that has been heated/cooked past around 350-375 degrees Fahrenheit (175-190 Celsius) - which begins changing its structure in a negative way. Check the ingredient list of most prepackaged foods & you will find some type of refined oil in them. Restaurants also used refined oils to prepare almost everything. Refined oils also tend to be heavy with pesticide/herbicide residues. Easy to see the problem. I stick to properly-prepared natural/unrefined animals fats & also raw/virgin cold-pressed coconut & olive oil.

I do want to raise one problem with the olive oil + corn oil vs. animal fat diet study. There was no olive oil only (nevermind extra virgin which has the least processing, which maintains a healthier fat&cholesterol profile) group. Corn oil is God awful for people. No question. The work of Chris Knobbe on Omega 6 dangers has made this ridiculously clear. Olive oil is both relatively high in monounsaturated Omega 3, and the Omega 6 is not Linoleic Acid majorily, so the fat profile is very healthy.
On the coconut oil front, Dr. Ali may want to look at the studies of the Tokelau islander tribe, because 80% of their fat intake is coconut oil (and something like 55-60% of their diet is coconut meat, rest being fish), and they live long, healthy lives. Maybe they're genetically optimized for it vs. the western world, but they are a notable exception to the rule that phytosterols will be detrimental to longevity.

Remember that the pacific islanders will consume that in the raw form not cooked and the coconut cream in the meat itself is an almost perfect match for the Krebs cycle’s at 80% fat 15% protein and 5% sugar. what’s also funny is when he mentioned the Canadian diet I thought he was going to mention canola oil, which means Canadian oil

Looking at those Mediterranean populations who, for generations, have consumed large amounts of olive oil in their diets, are also considered to be the healthiest populations. To place olive oil in the same category as processed corn oil is alarmist and misleading.

    • @patrickproctor3462
      @patrickproctor3462 Рік тому

@@SilverMusik333 Yep. The polyunsaturated fatty acids break down into peroxyl radicals first, and those are very oxidative in the body. Then you start generating trans fats as those radicals interact with the intact fatty acids in the pan under heat.
The perfumes and other volatile compounds also get morphed into undesirable reactive compounds too. You can saute with EVOO up to about 300 degrees before you hit this problem, but next to no one watches their pan THAT closely.
Virgin coconut oil is good up to about 400, refined up to 450 (perfumes removed). And avocado oil can be 550-600 depending on origin and processing.
By the time a pan hits 400 degrees, veggies and meat are going to be actively searing, and that's where most home cooks operate or stop, so it's the safer option if you're not a cooking enthusiast. If you want to run an experiment to check what level your stove has to be at to not have the pan exceed 300F, you can put some oil in it along with a temperature probe and find out.
