To anybody who's reading this, I pray that whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. May the dark thoughts, the overthinking, and the doubt exit your mind. May clarity replace confusion. May peace and calmness fill your life !!
When driving I often let people out of a junction or a lane change (trucks). Not because I want gratitude but I would like other drivers to do that with me! It costs nothing to be polite & treat others with the respect! That will also give you a good feeling in yourself (you have put put another person before you). It is not a sign of weakness but a sign of understanding! This also gives you (me) a good feeling to help another person out without any cost to myself!
Your videos are really meaningful and profound! I was especially impressed with the part about how to treat people who cannot reciprocate. This made me realize that the smallest actions are the most accurate measure of character.
Thank you for your thoughtful comment! I'm glad that part resonated with you - it's often the smallest actions that reveal the most about who we truly are.
Some customer service reps are trained to make your day miserable. Treat others as how you would like to be treated and reciprocate how others treated you.
That’s a great perspective! While some people may act unfairly, staying true to our own values and treating others with respect reflects our own character. Stoicism teaches us to respond with wisdom, not just react. Thanks for sharing!
These are issues that have ended many friendships for me. Unfortunately, once people know your values especially w.r.t. the things mentioned in this video, they get pretty good at concealing their true nature until they're well entrenched in your life. For me the best is not to reveal my values with words.
You’re absolutely right-actions speak louder than words. Sometimes, keeping your values to yourself can help you see people's true character over time. It’s a wise approach to protect your peace and make sure your relationships are genuine. Stay strong!
I love your voice and the subjects of your video, but I think, we cannot judge the people just by those you explain, because the people's condition and personality are so different, also the ways they defend themselves are so different. Thank you for your consideration.
I appreciate your thoughtful perspective! You're right-people are complex, and understanding them requires looking at the bigger picture. Thank you for sharing your insight!
You describe a perfect world, but you are leading "innocent lambs to the slaughter." The world is an evil place! The "good die young" because the evil people in charge take advantage of those who tell the truth and are of good moral character.
I understand your perspective. It’s true that the world can be challenging, but embracing wisdom and staying true to our values helps us navigate through it. Sometimes, the strength lies in remaining steadfast in our principles, even when things seem unfair.
Yes there is evil in the world. There is also great holiness in some individuals. Everyone is on a temp assignment on planet earth: Some of us do consider it worthwhile to live a better, even if shorter life (through Martyrdom) on earth...to merit the Promised better life in the next world.🌹✨

@ That's a great way to look at it! Cars can definitely be a reflection of our personality. It's cool how your Audi represents both sides of you - calm when you need it and powerful when you want it. Thanks for sharing that perspective!
Before you can change you must let your authentic self BE. Feel yourself and act on your gut feelings, even if they contravene public codes of acceptance. This is how those in authority want their underlings to behave.
Interesting perspective! But true character isn’t about obedience-it’s about integrity and actions when no one is watching.

Marcus Aurelius would be proud! This video truly captures the essence of Stoicism in today’s world. 🏛💡

No to commitment

Don’t I know it! Narcissists… but most are not that charming
You're right-narcissists can be tricky, but once you know what to look for, their true nature becomes clear. Stay aware and protect your peace!
