I’m buying this for my wife this week. She tried the 2022 Honda CRF250F Fuel injected bike but felt it was to heavy and to tall in the technical trails. But our Honda CRF125F Big Wheel was to short. She is 5’7”. We took a look at the Kawasaki KLX140R F this week and she immediately said this bike felt perfect 👍🏼
Right on, my wife is one inch taller and I may do what person commented of adjusting the spring height. The bike should be noticeably lighter.
This was helpful I'm deciding between those exact bikes and I'm also 5'7"
sick bikes. I'm looking into a 22 klx right now. your video helped me make my decision 💚
Just bought my klx 140r L today super pumped about it
they are awesome great bikes
I bought a klx 140r for my wife thinking it would be a good starter bike and it was. However, I decided to get her the klx 140r-l rather than try and upsize the wheels myself. I’m looking forward to see her progress into bigger and better bikes as she gets more riding experience. Thank your for this video it really helped me see the two bikes side by side.
Good, that was my intent.
Looks like a lot of fun!
Got the F model, a L model, and the 300r for Christmas last year and we love them! The 2 small bikes are perfect beginner bikes for my boys and would be a great bike for smaller adults also 👍. The only complaint I would have on these would be that they are tuned super lean from the factory for emission purposes. Probably have them rejetted later on to richin up the fuel mixture to extract their power capabilities. Still really fun in the trails completely stock!
Thanks for your comment. I’ve noticed the lean run like you mention. What elevation are you running at?
I just got the 2022 klx140R F. I originally was looking to get the RL due to thinking the F would be too tall. The dealer didn't have the RL but when I sat on the RF it felt 100% PERFECT. I'm 5'5" 130lbs and this bike fits like a glove for me. Both feet reach the ground through the balls of my feet (not flat footed) and feels very stable and comfortable. I had attempted to sit on a Crf250f for the hell of it and didn't even kick back the stand - it was way too tall and heavy for me. Happy riding guys 🤘.
Nice video!
Very nice but needs better noise.
What is the top speed?
You can lower the rear shock height if your wife would like it a bit lower!
Thanks Ducati. I will look into that!
I might get a klx140r l
Nice!
I’m interested in the smaller of the 2 that your 12yo rides. Female, I’m 5ft2 and weigh 138lbs. In your opinion which one would suit me better?
Look at the Kawasaki 140R L or the Honda CRF125F Big Wheel edition both would be good for you. I like the Honda a little better because it’s fuel injected. My 10 year old is on that one. Good luck and ride safe!
Just a quick question when you pull the clutch in do u hear a slight ticking noise on it?
Which one? Just took the RF out for its first run, it has a sticking throttle 😳
@@billyazprospector the RF never had that happen yet
Hey pro tip, always have the wheel and and handle bars facing the same way as the kickstand
I’ll do better next time! The two new Honda’s!
Whats the difference between the rf and the g model?
My understanding is the “RF” is the new “G”
How tall would you recommend to be for the r f
At least 5’8+ or at 165lb+ @5’7
I went and looked at an L model today. I was about to whip out the cash for it then the dealer told me it was $5100. I was like uhhhh on a $3600 bike? excuse me. i've been buying from there for along time told him ill be taking my business elsewhere. I am curious if its the same story in other states. here in oregon $1200+ has been the average markup.
mine was 4500
@@sawyerjacobs6946 I was able to get mine 4k cash which is nice. I drove 70 miles to the dealership.
Yeah right now dealerships are marking product up because people are paying over MSRP. Just wait for the cash to bleed out of the system
3599 for the L + dealer set up, freight and doc fees. While the bike I feel is a bargain at 3599 for light dirt/trail, start tacking on all the BS fees and I think I'll be looking for something else to do.
How much was the RF?
I think around 5,200
Bad ass… how much for the bigger one
$5.3k got me on the waiting list 🤪
5.3k? I'm looking at one of these for my girl and it's listed at $3900 for the 2022 RF. Edit: i now understand the 5.3k fucking scalpers.
@@DaleEarnhardtsSeatbelt yessir. It’s unfortunate. There are other dealers here in AZ that are even higher!
What’s the top speed on those
I’d say around 50 stock, without changing gearing.
@@billyazprospector thank you
