I’m 5’10” 185lbs, just bought the KLX 140rL for my fist bike. I got comfortable on it super fast and now will give it to my wife as I look for the 230 lol. The bike is perfect for her.
i am 6 ft 2 like 160 pounds. 37 years of age. been riding my 2013 klx 140L around my town for 2+ years now as my only means of transp0rt to get me from point A too Point B. its a very reliable bike!! it got me to work daily and through the many hills and trails of Central cape breton island. in my area ATVs and dirt bikes are allowed to ride the curb/ dirt sidewalks of the main roads to get around & we have ATV speed signs Through out my community at 20km/mph. long as your not driving crazy and wreckless you wont have any issues. my bike is registered & plated and i always ride with a Helmet. i bought my klx140L used for a $1000 and got it Titled in my name , was the best deal ever from a old worker buddy i got it from. i slapped new tires, sprockets, chains, battery, spark plug, oil & air filter, UFO hand gaurds and custom grips. also has a Light bar on it
Good video. I’ve looked at the KLR 230 and the CRF250f. I’m wanting to carry them on a bike rack on the rear of my travel trailer which list max weight at 300#’s. I’m 5’8” and 170#’s in street clothes. I was wondering if it was enough bike for my size. I rode dirt bike about 10 years. But that was about 45 years ago. I’m 66. So I’m not going to do crazy stuff. Although looks cool and fun. But I don’t heal as fast as I used to.
This bike probably would be good for you but I'd pick the KLR230. Me personally would pick the KLR 230 over it because you can still have more power if needed to. You don't need to use all of the power on a bike but its very handy when you need to and can. Hope this helps!
For real. I swear to God the prices of dirt bikes right now is stupid. Though I did just buy a 2014 RMZ 450 for $2800 because the crf 230s, KLX, and TTR 230/250s were just a few hundred bucks cheaper. I figured I would get the 450 because it's way more bike and tech for a few hundred more.
Would i be good for this bike my grandpa just got this I’m 13 and 5:4 and my grandpa won’t let me ride it till i get taller and little taller than him he is 5:6 is the good to be taller than that?
I am 5,6 and is a beginner rider I’m just wondering if I would be on my tippy toes or how I would fit the bike thanks if you respond really appreciate it😁
You'll be on your tippy toes, but if you're still growing, go for it. Otherwise, get the KLX140RL (also known as the KLX140L)...slightly smaller tires.
The other comments are not accurate. The RF has a 21" front, 18" rear, longer swingarm, and slightly different frame. The RL has an 19" front, 16" rear, shorter swingarm, and slightly different frame in the headtube area compared to the RF. So, the RL also has a lower seat height.
Honda doesn't make a bike sized well for you but a CRF230 or CRF250F might work if you're ok being on your tip toes. The Kawasaki KLX140RF or KX100 or KX112 would be perfect though.

Used ones are $3k+ and ten+ years old. Seems like the only path is to buy new.

The RL.
I'm 5,6 and 135 pounds is this a good bike
It's perfect for you if you are a newer rider.

My sister purchased a new one cheaper than than what people are asking for a used one
Would this be a Good bike in the dunes? I'm 5,4
Only if you put a paddle tire on the back, but that is true for all bikes in the sand.
Actually , it can reach 55 - 57 MP/H ! Again , if you are under 160 pounds.
Difference between this and the 2022 140RL?
the rl has a 21" front tire. that's it
@@davidjdunham ty. Appreciate it.

Bro I’m 411
I’m 5’7 to 5’8, what size should I get for both Honda, and Kawasaki

i would get the klx140rL. it is the same as the base 140 but with a bigger 21 inch front tire. it would probably fit you perfectly.
I’m 5”10 and 125lbs is this bike a good bike for me
This would be a great bike for you, but you might be on your toes depending on how long your legs are.
@@gohobby9934 my legs are really long
125? Bro forget a bike you need a cheeseburger and fries ASAP. Lol jk
@@truthistruth4186 lol I probably way like 132 now I’m only 13
