You could use a Christmas card with a winter scene as the background picture, or make it a more personalised one using a family photo, or a photo of a winter scene which you've taken yourself.
Every holiday I say I am going to make 1 of these snowglobes!!! I think I have decided to affix the tulle with velcro and buy many bags of the snow. Use toys on the bottom instead of the windows. That way I can remove the tulle and change it all out according to season. Dye some of the snow pastel colors for Easter. Use red snow and maybe some tiny hearts for Valentine's day. Orange and black for Halloween. Just some thoughts. I can NEVER watch a video without figuring how I would make it to fit my lifestyle!!!
What an awesome idea!. It looks easy to make and could be modified for different looks. Even seasons! Spring could blow small flowers, fall blows leaves, new years could blow confetti around. All with matching back grounds and frames...Love it! I must make one or five :)
I made mine and I loved it but I had a problem with the snow sticking on the glass so someone advised me to use static cling dryer sheets and roll the snow in it in a plastic bag then pour it in your globe and it worked. I can't wait to use mine at Christmas. my picture in the back was a picture of the front of my house when it snowed here in Montgomery Alabama two years ago.
So cute. I would even add a small string of those battery operated LED lights ( if there's room) underneath by the fan so you can admire this beauty at night too.
A very ingenious way of making a snow globe or box your own specifications. I would never have thought of such thing myself. I see where everything could be bought the picture the background that appears to be on plastic or vinyl that's something I would love to know where to find. This person is talented I wish I were half as talented.
This is so cool people are going to think you're a genius I love it. I am definitely going to do this for several friends l know they would love it as I do........ thank you
Omg you are one creative lady..I LOVE IT...just went to DT today..back tomorrow....oh I've been wanting to let you know... I found the Jumbo craft sticks at my Walmart...they were hanging up but they had stuff stacked in front.... anyway..I love this..thank you so much for sharing your wonderful talent..I really appreciate you ladies. Have a blessed day.
Simply Cheap And Easy DIYs Wonderful. For Thanksgiving I like to watch The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and for Christmas I like to watch The Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade. I wish I could travel to New York City for the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas season so I could see Times Square even The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree
OMG! I found your DIY by accident when I was looking for something out of the ordinary to craft. Wow! I found it. Your directions were very clear. I am off to Dollar Tree to find the items to construct your great snow globe. Thank you so much for sharing.
Oh my goodness I was thinking of doing something like that a shaker snow box but this is amazing! You just need a music box song maybe from a card ... The weather outside is frightful or I'm dreaming of a blizzard. Lol just kidding. It was very ingenious and cute, I bet someone copies this. You should get a paton. You also could use a card back ground and use a toy truck and dollar tree, tree's and little lights.
Truly genius! Thank you so much for sharing your creativity with everyone. I am definitely going to have to make this for my 3 year old Grandson. (I think perhaps with a tiny snowman inside and photos of him that I have a building his first snowman.)
I recommend using E6000 for a permanent hold. I only used hot glue for video purposes.
This is great! 👍🏻😊
I was wondering what sort of fan did you put there ,
