They are all beautiful. But I really like the first snow globe with the greenish blue water. As Bob Ross said: "There are no mistakes, just happy little accidents." 😋

Hey Jody, I bought a similar kit from Michaels and the instructions mentioned sealing the items for the globe, do you have any recommendations on what to use to seal it with?

Jody, I am NOT creative, but I love to watch your videos. I enjoy your “thinking” process, and your voice is so soothing. I truly enjoy watching your crafts. Listening to you lament about not using the finger protectors correctly just proves that we are all human and can chuckle at our own fallacies. You are a joy to watch. Thank you for sharing your gift of creativity with us!

Thanks and I figured out how to not have the bubble. It's what u did on the first one where the water came out. But I didn't pour any off. I put the figures in & when it dripped out, I cleaned it up but poured out no water. Once I sealed it & flipped it, no air bubbles 😁. Thank u

I’ve put the whole setup in the sink. Then filled the globe with water and glycerin to the very rim! Add the glitter. When it’s time to flip the scene into the globe, the extra water pushes out over the globe into the sink. I dry it with a paper towel and let it sit for about 15 minute, wiping and drying until ready for glue. Finish it just like you did! But when you turn it over, no bubble on top!

But I started doing a few things with the napkins and decoupage! I have saved my hand soap bottles and turning them into candle holders and decoupaging them with napkins! You can get clear or white silicon caulking for much cheaper than the glue. Big tube for 3.00 bucks as opposed to 10.00 for a small tube of glue.
Just make sure you leave them upside down to dry for about 8 hours.when you are done with the caulking I put a screw in the tip to keep fresh. Doing this i have had a tube usable for 9 months.
P.S. MAKE SURE IT'S SILICONE CAULKING FOR KITCHEN AND BATHROOM.

I made some dollar tree snow globes November 2019 as a fundraiser. I used the Frozen key chains they had in the toys. I had to amputate Anna's feet so she could stand 😁. Elsa and Olaf were no problem. When I went to Walgreens to get the glyceryn I was told they don't sell it. Amazingly she knew exactly where to find it at Walmart and was able to tell me where to find. She must of got asked the question a lot. I have an idea for a snow globe this year, I got the pieces, just need to do it.

I bought the "snow" from dollar tree. Did you happen to try that in the water instead of the glitter? We are about to do this project at Thanksgiving :)

I am a new crafter and wondering is there any glue stick better than the Dollar Tree. The one at the DOLLAR TREE you get a lot of glue string. I went to WalMart and bought the gorilla glue and that’s as bad as the Dollar Tree.

I really don't know. I have tried many different kinds and they all seem to make the glue webs. 🍂🤗🍂

Nice video, always wanted to make a snow globe . Would a painted figure carved from wood hold up ?
As far as adding or removing water , try using a straw with your finger on top holding the water in .
Move the straw to a reserve container lift finger . You can add water the same way a little bit at a time ,with no mess .👍😇

Thank you so much!! Oh I don't know how well wood would hold up in water. Thanks for the straw tip. 🎄⛄🎄

The instructions in the package say to leave the little ornaments dry 24 hours with hot glue. Did you edit your video or just let them dry while you were doing the bottoms

I just waited for the glue to cool. Still holding up great. You can wait the 24 hours if you think it would help. 😃

I made the snow globe but am having a little problem with some of the glitter lumping together at the top. Its ok when you shake it but when it sits there you can see it, any suggestions.

Hi, you could try adding a little more of the vegetable glycerine. Some of it still seems to float.

Love this video. But after time won’t the water evaporate? I was wondering what if you just put glitter in the dome without water?

Thank you. Yes I think over time it will evaporate some. You could give it a try. 😃
