- Hey, guys! In today's video I'll share with three Dollar Tree DIY Christmas decor ideas that are FAST and elegant. These are perfect for a classic, vintage or farmhouse style. My favorite it the Dollar Tree giant lamp post hack using rolling pins (finally brought you that craft!). You can make it for under $15 and in under 20 minutes. I'll show you how to make a simple throw pillow, and a beautiful mantle garland using just three items. I hope these DIYs inspire you this Christmas. Enjoy!

I made a similar pillow. Last year I did the snowman on one side and the fall leaves on the other lasted through two years and it was reversible. Flip to snowman affer Thanksgiving and I kept it out until Valentine's day hahaha I love universal decor.

heat up a butter knife on the stove and then cut ur hole out of the flower pot.. much easier😊

@@marlenek3412 They 'lost' 10 years worth of my photos when switching websites, but they e-mailed everyone assuring them their photos would be safe during the transition... this wasn't the case for me. The way they handled it was disgusting and why I refuse to give them my money. :) . I have a video about it up on my channel if you really curious to see how they handled things.

The garland on your mantle was beautiful. For those who might not know, you can get doweling in various thickness, cut to whatever length you want at the hardware store, and it's cheap. We use them as our budget curtain rods!

I've been a crafter for years, before UA-cam and I see things all the time that I made years earlier. I'm not saying she didn't see the other vedio but a lot of people can go to the dollar tree see a pot and come up with the same or similar idea. Just look in different store so much looks alike. Case and point (little red truck) It happens! One year a friend and I made hand made gifts for one another that looked so much alike it looked planned that way. It wasn't! By the way could u send me that other channel I would probably enjoy her also. Thanks💜

Your lantern is very cute. However for less money you could have got some PVC. It works for so many things. I just it for DIY's all the time. Love the pillows too.
I would've never thought that just using DT's wooden rolling pins, could be turned into something so beautiful!!!! I loved, loved, loved the 'pillows' made from DT's place mats!!! I loved everything 😍🎄🎀🎁
Love all of the DIYs!! Maybe instead of glueing your florals to the lantern pole ,you could just tie it on with a bow and that way next year if you change your colors ,you can then just change out the ribbon/ bow . just a suggestion. For the pillow, why not use stitch witchery to make the pillow? I would use wooden beads instead of Styrofoam. Love the garland!!

Just a tip: spray paint dissolves styrofoam. Paint styrofoam with Mod Podge first then spray paint
I have a sewing machine. I would use it instead of hot glue to make pillows. You can buy a dowel at Lowe's for the same amount of money as three rolling pins. It would be easier and sturdier. A poarch rail would work also. Use a drill instead of trying to cut the pots with a knife.
Every cart at Walmart is wonky. I ordered a yankee candle from Walmart.com and it arrived completely shattered. Thanks Walmart

Very clever and nicely done. For the lantern the only thing I would do differently is to have used wooden balls for the ends of the dowel instead of the styrofoam balls. At any rate you always have such inspiring projects.

In stead of the rolling pins I bet you could get a dollar tree mop or broom and use the handle. Then the post would be all one piece.

I love Dollar Tree ribbon! Imagine my shock when I realized I could get 100 ft for $10 from Target. The same price, but you KNOW you have enough for the entire tree and few other decor things. It is also a little better quality, since the glitter doesn't go EVERYWHERE! 🤯I still use plenty of Dollar Tree ribbon if I don't need 100 ft!

I just came across this video and I love it for several reasons. She is quick and right to the point without all the blah blah blah of following her, liking, commenting, etc. Her quick tutorial was direct and looks easy to do. I've done the pillows before but I buy the placemats that are double sided and open up in a corner, stuff, and glue back together and voila, instant, cute pillow. 👍

The crafts came out great! I used to stay away from the glittery decor but then I heard about the trick of using hair spray to keep the glitter from getting everywhere- because it does, lol. I bought some glittery floral picks from Dollar Tree and hit them with the spray and the trick worked - no glitter to clean!

Loving the lantern! Almost bought some from Walmart - out of stock quick🤨 Have some we use for poolside candles, going to be reused next holiday outside!😉 If I don't have a pieces of post, think I'll put screws inbetween the rolling pins for stability though, since my squirrels are nosey🐿😁 With some string lights & a stake to put in the big pots on our front walkway-perfect!

I love this video. I made those pillows two weeks ago. When I first saw those placemats I was like PILLOW 🥰 I really wanted Christmas pillows but I didn’t wanna spend 10-15 on each pillow. So dollar tree/ 99 cents store made it happen for me this year 🥰😍

That lantern idea was BRILLIANT!!! Quick tip: If you make anther one, use a cutting knife or an exacto and make it next to the stove, hopefully you have a gas stove. Heat up the blade and it will go through that plastic a lot easier.
