I will say guess #11 is one of the lies because anti-extra-turn tech is not something that would usually go into precons. While #4 sounds like something that would be done, it would allow #14 to be a 4/11 creature. Not only is that an unusual p/t combo, but 411 is (at least in the US and Canada) a number that means "information." And that is something that would be very thematic in a murder mystery set.

I solved the mystery! The lies are 3 and 8, Azra and Radiance. The culprit in hint 14 is Eye of Duskmantle!
my guesses:
hint 1 - backup commander #2 for the boros deck
hint 2 - the backup commander for the naya deck
hint 3 - false ( unfortunately)
hint 4 - some land, that would be very fun to play in pauper, but is uncommon
hint 5 - in the bant deck, and it is based off of the number of artifacts or clues sacrificed this turn
hint 6 - archnecromancer charm
hint 7 - false (hopefully)
hint 8 - the new feather
hint 9 - white den protector
hint 10 - naya deck, but monocolor and will be melee counter
hint 11 - dimir deck, and involves really silly graveyard shenanigans
hint 12 - dimir deck, and its an expensive (manawise) tutor that will search for a card with mv equal to gravestorm
hint 13 - boros deck, will be something something to deal with goad when its down to 1v1 (assuming 4 player game)
hint 14 - 3/7 creature i guess
oh the "2 people losing the game" card being for goad makes so much sense! hopefully you're right

An Azra can travel to Ravnica using the Omenpaths like Kellan is doing and the Vedalkin Jack and the Beanstalk character did to get to Eldraine. If I am wrong and read to much into it my b but like its an entirely possible answer which could easily rule out the easy answer of "Azra aren't from here so won't be appearing in the decks"

as we see the art of a legend bear, and bears are often 2 mana 2/2s.
Therefor number 2 cannot be the lie
I reckon it buffed 2/2s because it was in the facedown deck, where morph and disguise creatures are all 2/2s
@@Ironpecker most likely some combination, maybe it turns creaturs with base power and toughness 2/2 into bears with X or Y ability or a new stat block stronger than 2/2 or gives you a bear anthem allowing for the card to work as a new bear commander but still be capible or more, like its own morph deck
3/8, Azra aren't from Ravnica, and as another commenter pointed out, Radiance is a bad fit since there's a morph/disguise deck, and the four commander decks generally are designed to play well with each other
And Vadalkin aren't from Eldraine but we saw one in Wilds of Eldraine because non planewalkers can use omenpaths to travel between planes like Kennan is doing.

Can't wait for the Revenant Recon deck to be previewd. I gotta say, i was so excited when i saw Dimir Strandcatcher today. But i was very let down that it isn't legendary. I really hope the decks backup commander explores a similar design space.
I believe the backup commander is Lazav (as shown at the end of the Revenant Recon section of the video)

Especially when one of the decks got a bunch of face-down colorless clreatures.
Radiance was the original Boros mechanic, though, so it might well be in that deck. It's a horrid mechanic for building a guild identity around, but as a one-off, it's fine. It's not like it'd be too hard to throw together one card with some sort of "Radiance - Goad target creature and every creature that shares a color with it" ability for the new Goad commander.

I’ll probably grab the Bant and Boros decks for sure. They sound like a lot of fun to me.

Re-watched the video and putting magic bias aside to look for clues like I was doing an escape room:
#1 no puncuation, AND Gavin ads commentary to it
#2,4 no puncuation
**#3,12 ends in an explanation mark!**
#5,11 ends in ..."
#13 ends in a quotes mark, no other puncuation"
#6,8,9,10 end in periods.
#7 ends in a period and has extra commentary.
As for pairings
A 2/4 isn't unusual and 1 probably fits there- still not unusual. 13 could also pair there as no periods.

I'd be willing to guess the creature from #14 is a 3/12

We need more 2 mana, 3 color identity commanders. There is a lot of untapped potential in that space.

I’m certain that the Azra is one of the fakes. New cards in precons are bound to the plane they’re on, and there aren’t any Azra on ravnica. I would guess that 11 is probably the other fake, since there doesn’t tend to be extra turn stuff going on in precons. A 3/11 would definitely qualify as an unusual pow/tou

I need #13 to be true, Goad is my favorite Commander mechanic but it's always an uphill battle when it gets to 1v1
this is why you need blue goad decks, to add Reins of Power
With Ugin’s Mastery, if you disguise a creature and it enters the battlefield, does that count as casting a colorless creature spell? And also, can you look at your face down creatures at any time? I just started playing Magic last year and this is a mechanic and play style that I am not familiar with.
Side note: Will the assist mechanic ever return? It is great for edh games.
I would guess 1 and 8 would be the false hints, as they seem the least interesting out of the bunch and also the third returning mechanic (gravestorm) actually is formatted differently, which could be a clue.
So, a 1/8 creature, huh? I'd say that also makes for a unique stat line.

hm new Feather is quirky? I hope we can build an awesome deck around her. Like the original that make the cantrip instant deck possible in that color combination. Would be cool if she could make the Radiance mechanic playable/worthwhile but there are only 10? cards with the mechanic... and the mechanic isn't the strongest either... Maybe the Radiance hint is a lie ;)
I'll say that the creature is a 4/11
#4: I remember Gavin once said that arcane signet was a mistake, because it reduces the uniqueness of decks, and a new card that is on all 4 of those decks would be less unique.
#11: The only card with that line of text is Stranglehold, and that card doesn't seem to fit very well on a Precon.
There are a couple more cards with that line of text (Ugin’s nexus and Gerard’s Pendant)

Do you know what criteria are followed to know if an edition has the commander decks translated into Spanish or not? First it happened with ONE and now with Karlov Manor... I don't make sense of it, both are main sets not supplementary.
On the beggining it says Wednesday January 24th, but then in the end you said thursday, so I'm a little confused

As for the super cycle, White Red and Green all have a +2/+2 and give keyword to commander creatures (think Bastion Protector). That's my guess for the cycle.

I was thinking hint#4 was a lie. A new card in every deck, could be an artifact or land but yeah could be a lie too.
my guess for one lie is number 14. the lie is that the lower number is actually the toughness, so that whatever the creature is it is a 14/x.

White Red and Green each have a creature that gives +2/+2 and a keyword to commanders (like Bastion Protector). Black lacks one so far so that's my guess.

I think your answer is correct but your reasoning is flawed.
What makes you think they would try to fix previously broken mechanics it’s been a thing they’ve been trying to do phyrexian mana and normal storm come to mind.
And Azra can appear on any plane thanks to the omen paths even if they don’t originate there.
The real reason 3/12 is correct is because they are the only ones that end with a !

1/11 You aren't doing clash, and "doing something for extra turns" doesn't really fit into precons that would not frequently have extra turn spells.
Gerrard's Pendant came in the RWB Dominaria Precon.

One thing I noticed about Mirko is the tweet annoucing them used used 'her' for Mirko, and here I noticed you used 'he'. I know we saw Mirko before, but can you let us know which is accurate?
1 is false. Clash is a terrible mechanic and isn't likely to appear in a precon of all places. Maybe a horizons set...

Hint 2 and 14 are the lies because hint 14 refers to the card Pride of the Hull Clade but its power and toughness are 2/15 so because only its power can be the other lie hint 14 is the second lie because only half of it can be true so its still a lie with a hint in it
If you were the lead designer, was one of your thoughts, that this set should be considerably slow? You cast 3 mana to put a card facedown, then spend an ungodly amount of mana to turn the card fave up. This is extremely slow. This set will do nothing in standard. This set is for commander players only. Clue is one my favorite movies ever and these cards are so bad, they’re pretty much unplayable. Very disappointing

What was the thought process of going murder mystery on Ravnica? The Phyrexian invasion, war of the spark, and the imminent arrival of Marit Lage all happened to Ravnica, yet we're not exploring any of the ramifications of those events.
This set feels like someone came up with the Clue tie in and then just shoved it into Ravnica setting.
The story for this set actually goes into the ramifications of the Phyrexian invasion, I highly recommend you read it if you haven't yet. Also, the whole Marit Lage thing was in the BOOM Comics continuity, so it wasn't canon.
They wanted to do a murder mystery and then slowly realized that Ravnica fit all the categories they needed
Maro explained this. They were building a bespoke world, and then realised what they made was very similar to Ravnica, so they just went with the plane we know.
@thadrin I hadn't seen that, but it makes sense as to why this set doesn't feel like Ravnica to me.

You need to make two-color guilds universal. There are portals throughout the multiverse now, so why can't we have the Ravnica guilds spread out from Ravnica? This way we can see our favorite guilds on other planes.

WOTZ should stop giving LLR deck previews, I remember they did the Eldrazi one from CMM and it was a painful watch. The hosts were the most boring and unenthusiastic. Hoping for Serge and Wheeler this time, those are the entertaining ones.
