Thank you for uploading this! I literally played basketball yesterday where Pete died in 88. I was able to share Christ with a few men! So thankful for Jesus who saved Pete Maravich!
And GOD said the bible not the ball is in your court again my son.what a testimony its greater then his playing He probably slept with the bible next to his head RIP what a humble soul If someone gave him a humble medal he would live up to it and give it to someone else
@@michaelalbertson7457 In most of his marriages he had affairs. He never really lived a Christian lifestyle or witness to the world about the gospel which he had a great platform to do. Glen choice the world instead. His last year's before he got sick he entertained at las Vegas and Casinos. He definitely didn't let his light shine. His life never showed a Christian lifestyle or witness to the world. His heart could of really change after he retired at home. What a waste of Life , he could of really been used for the Lord. I'm not judging him , I fall short also many seasons of my life. If he was saved I saw no signs. Life is to short and all of the fame and money can't save you and all pleasures of life is short. Like Pete always says it's only a short time of happiness and the true joy and peace comes from Jesus Christ. Pete was free of all torment when he received Jesus Christ. I heard his heart condition he should of died as a teenager or the condition can allow you to live only at the age of 20 year old. God had a different plan for Pete for him to witness for Christ and peace and joy in his life. We all waste so much of our lives for the pleasures of this sinful life. Pete was a very humble man and inspired so many people and continues to even after his death. He was such a bold witness of the Lord. His a example what being Christian is lived. He found his peace and joy through Jesus Christ.
If you do, don't wait a moment longer to start your new life in Jesus Christ. Remember, this prayer is not a magical formula. You are simply expressing your heart to God. Pray this with us: "Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life and forever In Jesus' name I pray, Amen." Prayer of Salvation - I've Prayed It; Now What? If you've prayed this prayer of salvation with true conviction and heart, you are now a follower of Jesus. This is a fact, whether or not you feel any different. Religious systems may have led you to believe that you should feel something - a warm glow, a tingle, or some other mystical experience. The fact is, you may, or you may not. If you have prayed the prayer of salvation and meant it, you are now a follower of Jesus. Welcome to the family of God! We encourage you now to find a local church where you can be baptized and grow in the knowledge of God through His Word, the Bible. www.allaboutgod.com
I am a fan of Pistol Pete, for his basketball and for his Christian witness, but why would he be invited to travel the length of the country as a young man to put on a display of his basketball skills, only to not have him display those skills during the 3 days he spent at the event. Was he lied to? And manipulated? Strange.
Pistol seemed like he was a nice likable cat as well as genuine. So many guys like Dr. Jay and Earl the Pearl always talk about what a great guy that he was. I personally believe that a healthy Maravich would have had just as big of an impact in today's game. As he did back then. Maybe even more so because Steph is knocking them dead at 6'1" or 6' 3 or whatever he is. Imagine Pistol at 6'5, or 6' 6 with the type of range that he had. And ball handling.and pass skills that he possessed. Shittttttt they can say what they want, these little whipper snappers. With the proper diet and exercise a whole lot of guys could have excelled in today's game. I truly believe that from the bottom of my heart😅😅😊.

No man can serve 2 masters. He chose wisely.
The Very BEST!!!!
I love it when Pete says he was not raised in a Christian home, he was raised in a church home ....
Pretty different from what i have seen in the movie 'The Pistol'
An Orthodox priest from St. Elijah the Prophet baptized Peter Press on June 24, 1947 in his home on Beechwood Avenue.
Pistol Pete marivich was a basketball 🎩 magician
Love Pistol.
Glen Campbell never obeyed Luke 16:18.... Spouse: Kim Campbell (m. 1982) · Sarah Barg (m. 1976 - 1980) · Billie Jean Nunley (m. 1959 - 1975) · Diane Kirk (m. 1955 - 1959)
He was divorced which the Bible says is allowed. 1Corinthians 7:27,28a says one can remarry.

Why would anyone believe such nonsense?!
