Terri saying "I think of myself as god" is fucking incredible
And then her looking for the Bible... too funny
Definitely my favourite character of the whole series!
Terri Coverley is the most self-important character in _The Thick Of It._ "Terri: I don't think I've ever met anyone quite so proud and, yet, quite so useless." - Glenn Cullen
As is her referring to signing as “deaf and dumb language.”
"This is some of my best stuff and it's being ignored..." being in a deleted scene is just... perfect.
I could watch 5 hours of this stuff.
No amount of "The Thick of It" is ever enough for me.
Yep best television ever written
Does anything else even come close? This is the best series that ever was, or ever will be written. The dialogue is spectacular - whilst remaining believable - throughout the series. And there are so many fantastic characters, and again, all very believable. This series was a work of Godlike genius!
"not to toot my own trumpet but I like to think of myself as God" fucking incredible
"Mrs Coverley?"
"Uh, no, I don't know anything... sorry, what was the question... 'doesn't matter - that would be my answer (big smile)." Incompetence on a plinth.
Ollie's "You were shit!" has to be one of the most genuinely painful moments I've seen so far.
Malcolms brutality was fully revealed when he learned that ollie was in hospital after I think his kidney ruptured. By sheer force of his personality he bullied ollie back to work even in his hospital gown. It made the viewer really uncomfortable.
@@markdaly1648 it was his appendix. real
The female characters in TTOI are so underrated. Terri especially
100%, I think Terri's the funniest female character I've ever seen
Ikr? Nicola really just reminds me so much of Theresa May, it's nutty
@@danner253 Tbf Theresa may was the Tory equivalent of Ed milliband…
I really wish they kept in that scene where Nicola kicks Ollie out of her house. It seems like a pretty important scene considering the context of it. I'm surprised they cut it.
“No, I don’t know anything. Sorry, what was the question? Doesn’t matter. That would be my answer.”
All brilliant as usual ! too many quotes to remember. The Inquiry scenes are excruciating (in a good way ) ....they look realistic ....
The excuse of Glenn “coming in for a new… hip…”
I didn't think Terri's interrogation could be any more excruciating. OMG! What an absolute narna!
Terri is a character both so close to people we all met and so much more fucked than any really existing person ever could be.
I love the fergus and Adam scene fergus went Australian Adam did it perfectly 👌🏻
All of these scenes. Wonderful
pure gold.
I don't understand how anyone could write Terri's dialogue. It must look completely bonkers on the page.
tempting me to watch this again
00:07 Phil's definitely speaking from experience.
Just realised the male carer is John Shelby
Of late, Harry Palmer!
11:44 I wish they left this in the final edit. Fuck, that's hilarious.
I agree! And Sam little smile makes my heart melt.
@@elisaortega4837 good catch!
12:54 is fantastic!!!
that scene is the best clip in the video
*_Bin bag o’ Monster Munch and a Ribena_*
She’s so wonderfully incompetent it’s brilliant
14:50 a fine thing indeed
saying that too often now
Knowledge is Porridge.
Brilliant, too close to reality.....
8:30 oh hey brutus
Roger allam line in ttoi where he is forced to go to a school and that line about i hate students there like effing geese. Just brilliant.
They're volatile and stupid and they haven't got the vote. Might as well he talking to fucking geese.
Poor glen
Who need to pay tax? The thick 7 is written as a vertical rectangle on the right and it doesnt have a left side
Shitney Spears 😂😂😂
Lost it at shitney sprears
MRS Coverley ?
Yes she was married the whole time.
Yeah she's at home with her husband during the snap election special
I dunno why, she always seemed like a singleton somehow. Maybe because she never mentioned a partner. Nicola mentioned James, Peter mentioned Tina, Stewart mentioned being a father at some points. I think even Julius did.
She's married? Poor bastard.
The minor characters - I can’t tell which are conservative and which labour
They're civil servants
6:39 Why do I get the feeling this guy based his performance on Boris Johnson?
When this was made Johnson was a nobody, ex politician working part time as a columnist.
@@kickedinthecalfbyacow7549 No? This was made in 2012. Series 4.
@@kickedinthecalfbyacow7549
He was Mayor of London. Hardly a nobody.
Utter rubish
I think it's absalutely supurb.
Illiterate fucker
The title of the clip is very clear, why on earth did you click on it? Shouldn’t you take some responsibility for what you watch? It’s on demand FFS
Should be Tonta* 1:56
