Thanks to Moman for sending you these units to try and to yourself for fitting and testing them out. I'm sure many folk on a budget will appreciate this alternative to more expensive units. The fact they link automatically is a boon as other units I've used can be a pain to get connected.
Looks pretty reasonable kit, Dave. I bought a Signify-branded single unit a couple of weeks ago, from Aldi here in Oz; it looks almost identical to the Moman and the range is 1,200 metres, though it doesn't pair automatically. Cost me AUD$80, say 41 GBP, which is pretty good value. I have another older unit (same brand) on my other helmet and just paired it to the new one, though it's an 8-second task that needs to be done each time; I can live with that.
That seems very good value and will give serious thought to this one TBW as all I want it for is use with a satnav for direction since I do not listen to music whilst riding 👌👍
Tins on tour have done a video on these and the pillion sounded echoing , but idk if that's because of the upload to UA-cam looks a good starter kit as the others are silly money.
I don't agree with the point of it being a no brainer, the quality of these cheap chinese coms units are OK if you have a simple need like just sat nav, but otherwise they are a bit chalk and cheese, one of the biggest differences is noise cancelling, these cheap units claim it but it's not a patch on the cardo edge unit, then there is waterproofing, mounting system ect its certainly a case of pays ya money, and takes ya chance 😊
@@thebingleywheeler I seriously doubt that the sound quality of the cheap chinese speaker is up to the JBL speakers, or the waterproof level, even sena can't claim the Ip67 of the cardo units, but sure the lower priced units have a place, but no chance in hell they are equal to the cardo or sena system, I've had three various cheap chinese coms units fodsports fx8 pro being the last one, and it simply can not compair to the cardo pack edge.

Yea even the Cardos can be a pain to link

Thanks for the video. Did it connect with ease to your cardio unit? Also do you know if they work with other brands?
Fairly straightforward Bluetooth connection to cardo….not sure about other units but no reason why not
Don't know if i missed it but can you confirm you get two mic booms in the box, looking at getting a set if they have. Great REVIEW
Yes 2 mics one for each unit
Can you listen to satnav and also be connected to another set at the same time ?
Yes

No sure about that have a look at Crazy Legs on a Bike channel…he reckons no different to Cardos on the fly and I’m inclined to agree
