  • I'm selling my 2011 BMW 535i (F10). This car has a little over 114k miles at time of posting. This has been a great car for the last two and a half years.
    Key features include:
    Comfort access and keyless ignition
    Soft-close doors
    Heated steering wheel and heated front seats
    Active seats, i.e., massage
    Full leather comfort seats with adjustable back and thigh supports
    Driver’s assistance package, i.e., blind spot, lane departure, collision detection
    Active cruise control
    Self-parking feature
    Folding rear seats with ski pass through
    Power tailgate
    Key maintenance includes:
    New starter
    New battery
    New alternator
    New valve cover and cover gaskets
    New oil filter housing gaskets
    New serpentine belt, pulley, and tensioner
    New water pump, thermostat, hoses, and expansion tank
    New high- and low-pressure fuel pumps
    Full automatic transmission service at 99k miles, i.e., new pan, filter, fluid
    New tires at 99k miles
    New intake manifold gaskets

    Just purchased on 2012 with 131,000 miles. Did an oil change now I think I have a slight Valve Cover Gasket leak. Intermittent smoking

      Congrats, sounds like a nice car. Valve cover and oil filter housing leaks are common, but relatively easy fix. Make sure to knock out the latter as it can ruin the belt and main seal if left unattended.

      @@akashicpurple3206 Depends on your budget and skill/comfort level. Belt and pulley are definitely DIY. Spark plugs a little harder due to access but DIY. Valve cover gasket and oil filter housing gasket harder but still DIY if you're intermediate or so.
